An Important Note To Parents This year s annual Young at Art Gallery Exhibit and Reception will be on Sunday, Feb. 11 from 1:00-6:00. It will coincide with our annual children's scholarship fundraiser. For those of you who are new to our program, this exhibit features original artwork by the children and teens of Positive Strokes. We would like our students to all participate in this fun and positive experience. I will need one or two pieces of artwork (framed and ready to hang {with a wire}) from each student. Little Picassos artwork (our 4-9 year old program) and 3D artwork (multi-media, pottery, etc.) does not need to be framed. Artwork should be signed or have the artists name (& age if you d like) on it and must be dropped off anytime throughout the last week of January to be hung. The show will hang throughout February to give those who are unable to attend the opening a chance to view our young masters. Invitations will be available the second week of January. We welcome relatives, teachers, friends, etc. This is a special annual event for our children - we will be serving refreshments and honoring their wonderful artwork. Parents are welcome to donate treats for our opening. Please call me with any questions and plan to join us to celebrate the creativity of our young Masters. Let s show our children how PROUD we are of them!!! Page 14
