WHAT ARE HD PHOTO PANELS? HD Photo Panels are specially coated aluminum sheets suited for sublimation. They are ideal for showcasing fine art high definition photo prints with the most brilliant colors, highest dynamic range and best contrasts of all available printing technologies. These aluminum photo panels have a high quality sublimation coating that is moisture proof, dent & scratch resistant and are also fade resistant. Additionally, these high quality sublimatable photo panels have a special UV coating applied giving them UV resistance. To ensure the high quality standards required for the metal, rigorous quality control tests are done on a regular basis. These HD Photo Panels are extremely thin (0.045 ) allowing the use of almost any type of heat press to be used for the sublimation process. This includes clamshells, swing aways, and large pneumatic wide format heat presses. Photos printed on these sublimatable photo panels are bright, vibrant, and has very vivid color. This is due to the consistent high quality coating that is applied to every piece. Additionally the manufacturing process ensures consistently flat metal pieces to ensure print consistency across the entire piece of metal. Frequently Asked Questions Q: Can I order custom sizes? A: Wunderboard HD Photo Panels have a UV resistant coating that resists fading. Accelerated testing has shown it to last over 10 years. Q: Will any sublimation ink work A: Yes as long as you have the correct profile. However we recommend using Sawgrass or Epson sublimation inks for consistent and best results.
