To be completed by the Bidder Guaranteed Technical Particulars(GTP) Deviation/ Remarks Specify if any

3 Application The equipment shall be suitable for testing Equipment Under Test (EUT) with Star and Delta configuration. The application areas are: Power sector, Industrial, Medical, Residential, Telecoms etc. 4 Damped Oscillatory wave generator shall consists of following: (1) Generator (2) Coupling Decoupling Networks (CDN s) (3) Magnetic field coil The following specifications are Minimum and bidder shall provide suitable Generator, CDN s & Magnetic field coil with appropriate values so as to meet the overall test system requirements as per latest EN/IEC 61000-4-18, EN/IEC 61000-4-10 & IEC 60255-22-1 standards. I. Slow Damped Oscillatory Wave as per latest EN/IEC 61000-4-18: Generator Specification: Peak open circuit voltage range: 250V to 3,000V ±10% or better; Indicate other ranges and shall be quoted separately as an option. Voltage Rise time (first peak): 75ns±20% or better Voltage oscillation frequency: 100kHz and 1MHz ±10% or better Decaying: Peak5 must be > 50% of the peak1 value and peak10 must be < 50% of the peak1 value.

Short circuit current (Peak 1 value): 1.25A to 12.5A ±20% Output/Source impedance: 200 ohm ±20% or better Polarity of first half-period: Positive & negative selectable Repetition rate: At least 40 transients/s for 100kHz ±10% and 400 transients/s for 1MHz ±10% Burst duration: not less than 2s Release of pulses: Automatic & manual. Test duration: provision for selecting 2s (+10%, -0%) and continuous duration shall be provided. Display of test parameters: LCD/on software or any suitable display. Output: Direct via HV safety connectors. CRO trigger: Trigger signal for oscilloscope shall be provided. Suitable cable/ probe shall be provided. Coupling mode: Line to Line; Line (s) to ground (PE). Test level: shall meet the requirement of latest EN/IEC 61000-4-18. Waveform: The waveform of damped oscillatory wave with peak points shall comply with latest EN/IEC 61000-4-18. Verification of the characteristics of the generator: Shall comply with all the requirements as per latest EN/IEC 61000-4-18. The generator characteristics shall be verified from an accredited lab compliant to ISO/IEC 17025 standard and certificate with data shall be provided. The certificate shall be in name of CPRI.

II. Coupling Decoupling network (CDN) for AC/DC power supply ports (Built in or external) : Suitable CDN shall be provided for damped oscillatory generator. (a) The CDN shall comply with all requirements of latest EN/IEC 61000-4-18 for shielded and unshielded lines. Supply voltage rating/current rating: AC: 440V/32A per phase (3 Phase), 50/60 Hz; Quote for 690V (L L)/32A per phase separately as an option. Indicate other higher ratings and shall be quoted separately as an option. DC: 250V/20A per line; Indicate other higher ratings and shall be quoted separately as an option. (b) The CDN shall comply with all requirements of latest IEC 60255-26 and EN/IEC 61000-4-18 for shielded and unshielded lines. The coupler shall offer capability to test up to 4 pairs / 8 lines. Supply voltage rating/current rating: AC: 250V/4A per phase (3 Phase), 50/60 Hz; Indicate other higher ratings and shall be quoted separately as an option. DC: 250V/4A per line; Indicate other higher ratings and shall be quoted separately as an option. Coupling mode: 4 (L1, L2, L3 & L4) + PE; Line to line or

Indications: To indicate selected coupling mode and lines to be tested. Remote/manual controlled via Damped oscillatory wave generator. Waveform verification at the CDN output: The waveform and characteristics requirements detailed in latest EN/IEC 61000-4-18 shall be met for all coupling modes. The waveform characteristics shall be verified from an accredited lab compliant to ISO/IEC 17025 standard and certificate with data shall be provided. The certificate shall be in name of CPRI. All required verification kit for calibration/verification shall be provided.

III. Coupling/Decoupling network (CDN) for Signal/data lines: Suitable CDN for at least 4 signal / data lines shall be provided for damped oscillatory generator. The CDN shall comply with all requirements of latest EN/IEC 61000-4-18 for shielded and unshielded lines. Voltage rating/current rating: AC: 250V/4A per phase, 50/60 Hz; Indicate other higher ratings and shall be quoted separately as an option. DC: 250V/4A per line; Indicate other higher ratings and shall be quoted separately as an option. Output EUT terminal: At least 4mm dia. connector of suitable rating shall be provided. CDN shall be compatible with commonly available communication interfaces. Indicate the communication interfaces the CDN supports. Coupling modes as per latest EN/IEC 61000-4-18. Remote/manual controlled via Damped oscillatory wave generator. Indications: To indicate selected coupling mode and lines to be tested. Quote separately for Coupling/Decoupling network (8 signal/data lines). Waveform verification at the CDN output:

IV. Magnetic field coil for Damped Oscillatory wave complying to EN/IEC 61000-4-10 standard: The Magnetic coil suitable for testing table top equipment, floor standing equipment and larger EUT s complying to latest EN/IEC 61000-4-10 shall be provided. Dimension: 1x 1 m minimum; Quote for 1x2.6m separately as an option. Indicate other dimension and shall be quoted separately. Max. Damped oscillatory wave magnetic field: up to 100 A/m or better Output current range: from 10A to 100A, divided by the coil factor. Note : The output current range for the standard coil is from 12A to 120A. Frequency: 100 khz & 1 MHz ±10% Polarity: Positive & Negative Synchronisation angle: 0 to 360 deg. Induction coil current waveform: shall comply with the requirements of latest EN/IEC 61000-4-10. Test duration setting: 2s and continuous The magnetic field coil shall be adjustable in height and allow for 360 rotation. Shall allow easy moving of the coil. Suitable stand shall be provided. Suitable current source for the magnetic coil shall be provided. The magnetic coil shall be directly connected to the corresponding HV output of Damped oscillatory wave

5 Ring wave generator shall consists of following: (1) Generator (2) Coupling Decoupling Networks (CDN's) The following specifications are Minimum and bidder shall provide suitable Generator with appropriate values so as to meet the overall test system requirements as per latest EN/IEC 61000-4-12 standard. The Ring wave generator shall be built in along with Damped oscillatory wave generator or shall be an independent device. General Specification: Open circuit voltage (Pk1 value): 250V - 6,000V ± 10% or better; Indicate other ranges and shall be quoted separately. Voltage Rise time: 0.5µs ± 30% or better Current Rise time: 1µs (short circuit condition) Voltage oscillation frequency:100 khz ± 10% or better Decaying: 0.4<Ratio of Pk2 to Pk1<1.1 0.4<Ratio of Pk3 to Pk2<0.8 0.4<Ratio of Pk4 to Pk3<0.8 Output impedance: 12 ohm & 30 ohm (switchable) ± 20% or better Short circuit current (Pk1 value): 500A ± 10% for 12 ohm generator setting; 200A ± 10% for 30 ohm generator setting;

Polarity of the first half-period: Positive & negative selectable. Repetition rate: 1 to 60 transients per minute Release of pulses: Automatic & manual. Phase relationship with power supply: synchronizable from 0 to 360, resolution 1, tolerance ±10 or better. Display of test parameters: Peak voltage, peak current etc in LCD/software or any suitable display. Output: Direct via HV safety connectors. CRO trigger: Trigger signal for oscilloscope shall be provided. Suitable cable/ probe shall be provided. Coupling mode: Line to Line; Line (s) to ground (PE). Test level: shall meet the requirement of latest EN/IEC 61000-4-12. Waveform: The waveform requirement of Ring wave generator shall comply with latest EN/IEC 61000-4-12. Verification of the characteristics of the generator: Shall comply with all the requirements as per latest EN/IEC 61000-4-12. The generator characteristics shall be verified from an accredited lab compliant to ISO/IEC 17025 standard and certificate with data shall be provided. The certificate shall be in name of CPRI. All required verification kit for calibration/verification shall be provided.

Coupling/Decoupling network (CDN): Suitable CDN for AC/DC power supply ports, signal & control ports shall be provided. Coupling/Decoupling network (4 signal/data lines) for unshielded symmetrical & unsymmetrical interconnections lines shall be provided. The specification of CDN's are mentioned in page No. 2 of this document. The CDN s shall comply with all requirements of latest EN/IEC 61000-4-12. Waveform verification at the CDN output: The waveform and characteristics requirements detailed in latest EN/IEC 61000-4-12 shall be met for all coupling modes. The waveform characteristics shall be verified from an accredited lab compliant to ISO/IEC 17025 standard and certificate with data shall be provided. The certificate shall be in name of CPRI. All required verification kit for calibration/verification shall be provided. 6 Protection Overload, Over temperature. Indicate other protections. 7 Test routines The following specifications are minimum and bidder shall provide suitable test routines so as to meet the overall damped oscillatory wave and Ring wave test system requirements as per EN/IEC 61000-4-10, EN/IEC 61000-4-12, IEC 61000-4-18 and IEC 60255-22-1 standards. 1. User test routine: Customer specific routines. 2. Service: Service routines, setup. 3. Quick start: Immediate start, easy to use and fast shall be possible. 4. Standard test routine: According to EN/IEC 61000-4- 10, EN/IEC 61000-4-12, IEC 61000-4-18 and IEC 60255-22-1 standards.

8 Software The following specifications are minimum and bidder shall provide suitable software so as to meet the overall damped oscillatory wave and Ring wave test system requirements as per the latest EN/IEC 61000-4-10, EN/IEC 61000-4-12, IEC 61000-4-18 and IEC 60255-22-1 standards. - To control the test including standard library, test report facility. - Windows based menu-driven, user friendly interactive operation. - Modular and flexible enough to allow the user to adapt the system to new Regulations / Standards or extend or modify the hardware due to new test requirements. - Software shall support Windows 7 and latest operating system. - Graphical representation of the results on computer screen. - Download the results data in internal / external memory. - Software license: 01 (One) Note: (1) List of all the test standards the software support shall be provided. (2) The license for all software s including bought out shall be submitted. (3) The software shall be upgradeable in future to handle the changes in the test standards for a period of 5 years without any additional charges. Software updates/version shall be provided free of charge. (4) Software operating instruction manual including stepby-step procedure for carrying out the tests as per standard shall be provided. (5) The bidder shall indicate the minimum computer system requirement (hardware & OS) for the software.

9 Communication Interface RS 232/USB/GPIB/IEEE 488/Ethernet(LAN), remote control interface allow programming of equipment functions from an external computer. 10 Front panel control and display Alpha-numeric with LCD display/software (Indicate other display) and easy menu structure. 11 Calibration The bidder shall provide the calibration certificate with calibration data for Damped oscillatory wave generator, Magnetic field coil, Ring wave generator & CDN s issued by the accredited calibration laboratory compliant to ISO/IEC 17025 standard traceable to recognized national standards laboratory upon delivery of the equipment. The calibration certificate shall be in the name of CPRI. Calibration certificate shall not be older than two months from date of shipment. General Specification 1 Input Supply voltage Single phase, 230V AC +10%/-15%, 50 Hz. Power cord suitable for Indian type conditions shall be provided. 2 Power consumption Bidder shall indicate the total power requirements for the proposed system. 3 Operating condition Temp: 15 to 35 C. RH: up to 75%. 4 Safety regulation EN/IEC 61010 and shall comply with relevant EMC & EMI standards. 5 Dimension and Weight Bidder shall indicate the Dimension and Weight of the proposed test equipment. Other Requirements 1 Accessories All standard accessories, interconnecting cables, connectors etc., shall be included. The bidder shall provide Oscilloscope requirement for verification of characteristics of Generators. 2 Spares The bidder shall recommend mandatory spares & shall be quoted separately. 3 Optional items All optional items shall be quoted separately.

4 System Documentation One (1) copy of documentation, inclusive of its softcopy covering the equipment installed shall comprise of the following: 1. Safety manual 2. Installation manual 3. Operating manual. 5 Training at CPRI Proposal shall include training for members of CPRI at site by a qualified trainer covering the following areas: - System Integration, operation and testing. - Demonstration & functionality of supplied equipment. - Demo for carrying out testing as per latest EN/IEC 61000-4-10, EN/IEC 61000-4-12, IEC 61000-4-18 and IEC 60255-22-1 standards. - Verification of the characteristics of Generator as per latest EN/IEC 61000-4-12 and IEC 61000-4-18 standards. - System maintenance & trouble shooting over view. - Safety considerations during operation & maintenance of the equipment. - Preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment. There should be a technically competent individual (or other resources) made available to CPRI to consult with on matters arising within the warranty period. The bidder shall appoint suitably qualified personnel authorized by the principal to provide on-site training. All costs towards training shall be borne by the bidder.

6 Installation, Commissioning and Testing The bidder shall be responsible for the installation, commissioning and test-run of equipment to the satisfaction of CPRI. When the installation is complete, the bidder shall demonstrate that the equipment meets the published specifications and provide instruction to CPRI personnel. All costs on installation, commissioning and test run of the equipment shall be borne by the bidder. 7 Warranty The equipment shall have a 2 years warranty (minimum). The warranty period starts after successful installation, commissioning and Provisional Acceptance Test at CPRI laboratory. The bidder shall also propose and quote the AMC charges separately (The scope of AMC shall be provided) after warranty period for a minimum of two (2) years at the time of tender submission. The AMC charges shall not be included in the quote & shall be quoted as option. The equipment shall be fully integrated and warranted by a single principal. The bidder shall enclose the Performance Warranty Letter from the Principal in relation to the equipment tested and commissioned by the bidder.

8 After Sales Service The bidder shall provide an original authorization letter from the principal signed by the authorized signatory. The bidder shall propose after sales service program including the response for the expected time to repair (ETTR). During warranty: Local support essential. After warranty/amc: Local support essential. Service call: within 24 hours it should be acknowledged; within 48 hours initial diagnosis; within one week it shall be resolved. Maintenance: Repair/service support during or after warranty shall be provided by the Indian agent during the entire life of the equipment. 9 Eligibility Criteria for Bidders The bidder shall provide documents establishing experience and capability as follows: The bidder shall have minimum of 3 year s experience in supplying similar or higher system. The end users list whose facility has been accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 standard shall be provided. The bidder shall provide the feedback from the users for the satisfactory performance of the test equipment. 10 Delivery period Differed delivery of items are recommended by CPRI.
