Step Assembling side frames ay front corner post,rear corner post, end panel 3 and lower stretcher 4 flat on the floor as shown. ote: The holes in end panel 3 must be at the top. ote: The bottom of rear corner post is smaller diameter. Insert end panel 3 into the large holes in posts. Secure using fixings A and. ote: Do not fully tighten screws A. Assemble lower stretcher 4 in between the corner posts using fixings B and. Step Assembling guard rails a: To assemble the rear guard rail, locate internal bracket inside guard rail as shown. Secure using screw. a: ocate rear guard rail 5 onto guard rail and secure using fixings and. 5 5 b: To assemble the front guard rail, repeat the steps from a: above, using front guard rail and remaining guard rail. b: 5
Step 3 Assembling rear guard Two people are needed here. With help, stand both side frames upright. Assemble the rear guard rail 5 and in between the side frames as shown. B ote: Do not fully tighten any screws during the assembly. Secure at the top using fixings B and as shown. Step 4 Assembling front guard At this stage, choose if you want the ladder on the right hand side or left hand side. Step Assembling slats ocate external brackets over the joints in the front and rear guard rails. ote: Depending on which way round you have assembled the front guard rail, external bracket may be visible on the outside of the bed.
