Contact: Lucie 775-266-8781 (leave msg) or better yet yah.craftfair@gmail.com Layout & Fees The Craft Fair will be held in the large gymnasium, the South Activity room, the Ranch View room and the Dining Hall of the Douglas County Community & Senior Center. We have a total of 138 booths available (see floor plans on the website). Prices depends on room and size, all stated on the application form. Electricity is available to booths marked with an E on the plans for $5.00. We also have a very limited number of tables for rent. Booth assignment requests will be honored on a first-received & paid basis for those submitting completed applications. No unpaid request will be considered. Please email or call to see if we still have spaces available before sending your application after the September 1 st deadline. Reserving your space Be sure to send a complete application, if you are sharing a booth, we request that 1 person only be designated as the contract holder, multiple names will not be accepted. Your online or mailed in application showing preferences for booths, the type of craft that you offer and a PayPal (credit card) payment, check or money order payable to Young at Heart. Applications and payment are due on or before September 1 st, to insure your choice of booth(s); the earlier in the year improves your selections, the craft fair usually fills up very fast. The Young at Heart fair is primarily a handcrafted show. Exceptions must be approved by the Craft Fair group, please email yah.craftfair@gmail.com. Setup Instructions Setup instructions, sales tax reporting, and application for the next year s craft fair will be emailed (or mailed if no email is provided) as a confirmation Vendor Check-in Instructions shortly after October 1 st. We request that you acknowledge receipt of this email/letter: failure to do so may result in losing your space to a waitlisted applicant and no right to refund. You are required to bring your instructions and sales tax reporting with you at setup time.
Raffle The Craft Fair raffle has been a huge success. We ask that you donate a handcrafted item from your booth. Remember to include your business card. We are a non-profit, so items donated are tax deductible. Cancellation Policy Cancellations received in writing or by email (no phone calls) on or before the September 1st deadline will be refunded with a $10 administrative fee, provided that a replacement can be found. Cancellations after September 1st will not be refunded. In the event that you find a replacement, this person is required to send in their application telling us which vendor they will be replacing. We will refuse them setup if we don t have any information on them. Food & Beverages There will be a Cafe at the entrance of the community center and at the east end of the dining room serving beverages, donuts, hot dogs, cookies & more at a nominal charge.
