IDRBT Banking Technology Excellence Awards 1 st September, 2017, Hyderabad State Bank of India wins Best Bank Award under two categories State Bank of India won the Best Bank Award for Use of Technology for Financial Inclusion Among Large Banks and Best Bank Award for Electronic Payment Systems among Large Banks in the Thirteenth Edition of the IDRBT Banking Technology Excellence Awards held on 1 st September, 2017 in IDRBT, Hyderabad. The IDRBT Banking Technology Excellence Awards are synonymous with excellence in technology adoption, upgradation, absorption and innovation. In its 13th edition this year, the IDRBT Banking Technology Excellence Awards, are the benchmark for recognizing banks, which innovate and explore technology to improve cost, reach, customer service and efficiency. Pioneering and out-of-the-box approaches in the usage of technology for improving productivity and profitability are recognized through these awards. The top management of the Reserve Bank of India and Indian banks including Managing Director & CEOs, CIOs and IT Chiefs of Public, Private and Foreign Banks participated in this special function at IDRBT, Hyderabad. Shri S. Ganesh Kumar and Shri Sudarshan Sen, Executive Directors, Reserve Bank of India, presented the IDRBT Banking Technology Excellence Awards for the year 2016 17 to all the winners. Shri D A Tambe, CGM (IT-TCM) and Shri Amit Saxena, Dy. CTO (E-channels) received the Awards on behalf of the Bank.

Our Bank s Net Banking website www.onlinesbi.com is the fifth most visited online banking site in the world and the only one from India to figure in the Top 5 Global Online Banking Sites (Source: Similar Web). The Bank provides robust and customer friendly Net Banking Platform to its Retail, Corporate and Government customers. The ATM channel provides a sophisticated Debit Card Management System for handling various customer requests related with linking/delinking, blocking and unblocking of the Debit Card, for also provided conveniences such as Green PIN through alternate channels viz. ATM, INB, IVRS, SMS. The Bank has retained its numero uno position in Mobile Banking space, facilitating more than 40% of all the total transactions by amount that were done through the Mobile Banking
platforms in the country. The Bank revamped its Mobile Banking App and launched the State Bank Anywhere Personal in January 2017. The Bank also offers SBI Pay app, which is an inter-operable mobile-based UPI payment solution, and SBI Mingle, which is a social media banking platform for Facebook and Twitter users.
