ASN SCHOOLS HOLIDAY HOMEWORK CLASS I THEME: LIFE ON EARTH This is our world This is our home. This is the place where we belong Our world is an amazing place! It is the only planet we know about where people, animals and plants can live. We can live here because we have water, sunlight, and can grow food and breathe the air. To appreciate, enjoy and develop respect for different life forms on earth, this year we have chosen UN GOAL 14 Life under Water and UN GOAL 15 Life on Land as the theme for the holiday home work for classes I & II. These are two of the 17 goals of United Nations for Sustainable Development. This project will help you explore and discover different types of plants and animals and their habitat through fun filled and creative activities. It will be great if you visit the zoo with your parents, go for a nature walk, watch Animal Planet and National Geographic channel, visit UN sustainable goal website and browse animal encyclopedia, read animal stories to enhance your learning. Hope you enjoy exploring the Life on Earth with the guidance and support of your parents.
