Noventri Suite Software Schedule User Guide 1. SCHEDULE 1.1 Overview 1.1.1 The SCHEDULE tab allows sequences to be played any time of the day or as needed when using the Noventri Eco-Series line of players. 1.1.2 To use the SCHEDULE tab, you need to have access to the Noventri Server software that is installed and running on the same computer as the Noventri Suite or on another computer. 1.2 Start SCHEDULE 1.2.1 To create a new schedule, select the SCHEDULE tab. When the SCHEDULE tab is clicked, the following screen will be displayed. Note: This feature can only be used with the Noventri Server and Noventri Eco-Series line of players. 1.2.2 If you have not already connected to the Noventri Server, you will see the Noventri Server Login dialog. (See the Login to Noventri Server section of the Design manual.) 3 Noventri Suite Schedule User Guide SF100E-0162-02 REV 08
1.3 Select Project 1.3.1 The Project on Server drop down will contain the projects you have published. Select the project for which you want to create a schedule. 1.3.2 After the project is selected, the sequences for that project will be shown in the Sequences panel below. 1.4 Select Start Date 1.4.1 If you are creating a schedule to be played some time in the future, you can use the calendar to select the day your schedule will start. When schedules are added to the edit panel, they will appear green. Clicking on the desired date will take you to that entry in the calendar. 1.4.2 The full week (starting with today s date or the day you selected) will now be shown in the editing panel with the chosen date at the top. 4 Noventri Suite Schedule User Guide SF100E-0162-02 REV 08
1.4.3 Use the up and down arrows to scroll through the days of the week. You can choose the day you want to import the sequence into by selecting the date box or the schedule field. Dates that come up in red are in the past. While it is possible to set a schedule on those days, they will not be played. They are there for reference to show schedules that have already played. 1.5 Insert Sequence 1.5.1 Choose the day you want your sequence to play by selecting it. Then adjust the slider bar across the top to the time you want your schedule to start. 1.5.2 In the Sequences panel, click the sequence you want to add into the schedule. It will appear as a colored bar in the editing panel. Note: The colored bar will match the border color shown in the Sequences panel. 1.5.3 The default length for each sequence when added is 30 minutes. The properties of the sequence can be modified by double-clicking the colored bar. 1.5.4 If you need to start a new schedule, click the Clear Workspace button below the edit panel. 5 Noventri Suite Schedule User Guide SF100E-0162-02 REV 08
1.6 Edit Schedule Entry 1.6.1 Double-click the colored bar in the editing panel to open the Edit Schedule Entry dialog for that sequence. 1.6.2 The Edit Schedule Entry dialog shows all the schedule information for the selected sequence. This allows you to fine tune the schedule entry, changing its date, start or end time, expand it to run all day, or set it to repeat all week. The Project Name and Sequence Name identifies the sequence being edited. These names cannot be changed in the Edit Schedule Entry. The Sequence Length shows how long the sequence will run for. This was set up in the Timeline when the sequence was created and cannot be changed here. The Date shows the day when the schedule you entered will start. You may change the day using the up and down arrows. The Scheduled Length shows how long the schedule will be played for. You may adjust the Start Time and Stop Time using the up and down arrows. Selecting the Expand This Sequence All Day button will set this schedule to play all day (12AM 11:59PM). Selecting the Repeat This Sequence All Week button will set this schedule to play every day of the week (Monday Sunday). Select OK and the changes you made will be reflected in the eding panel, or select Cancel to discard any changes. 6 Noventri Suite Schedule User Guide SF100E-0162-02 REV 08

Note: The minimum length for a schedule is 15 minutes. 1.7.2 To move the schedule entry without changing its length, click and hold the center of the block and drag it to the desired new location. Note: When moving the schedule entry around, it will snap to other schedules when they are close. This is turned on by default to make scheduling fast and simple. To disable this, go to File > Advanced > Snap Off. 1.8 Single Players or Group Players 1.8.1 Select Single Player to assign a sequence to just one player or select Player Groups if you will be assigning your sequence to a group of players. 7 Noventri Suite Schedule User Guide SF100E-0162-02 REV 08

You can set the date and time for a temporary schedule to take top priority over any other schedules that may be assigned to that player. 1.9.2 Adjust the date and time you want the temporary schedule to expire and click the Apply button. There will now be a checkbox next to Apply As Override. 1.9.3 Click Assign to Player/Groups button, choose a different schedule name than the Currently Playing schedule s name and click the Save button. Note: Upon expiring, the player will change to the schedule that was playing previously, before the override was applied. 1.10 Play Every Week 1.10.1 Selecting the Play Every Week checkbox will disable the calendar and the up/ down arrow movement, locking the currently visible schedule in a repeated 7-day cycle from the day it was assigned. 1.11 Save Schedule 1.11.1 Schedules can be saved directly to the player using the Assign to Player/ Group button below the edit panel or they can be saved locally on the computer for future use using the Save to Local Media button. 1.11.2 After the schedule has been created, click the Assign to Player/Group button, choose a name for your schedule, and click the Save button to send it to the player. 1.11.3 The schedule can also be saved without sending it to the player. You will be asked if you want to first save the current schedule before loading a new one. 1.12.2 Use Load From Server if the schedule was previously assigned to a player or a group of players. The following Schedules on Server dialog will appear. 1.12.3 Select a Schedule Name from the list that you want to load. Then click the Load button. Note: From this window, you may also delete unwanted schedules located on the server by selecting a Schedule Name, then clicking Delete. 1.12.4 If a schedule has been assigned to a player, you can use the Edit button in the edit panel to insert the selected player s Currently Playing schedule into the edit panel. 1.13 Delete Schedule 1.13.1 To delete a schedule that had been saved, select the Schedule Name and click Delete. After confirming your selection to delete, the schedule located on the server will be deleted. Note: When a schedule listed in Currently Playing is deleted, the status will change to Nothing Scheduled.
