went on lunch outings. Once again, great weather to be out. Morgan, The Therapy Dog visited during November. His room to room visits are delightful for both the residents and for Morgan DECEMBER NEWSLETTER Many of our residents enjoyed the 3 part series The Greatest Generation in November to commemorate Veteran s Day. Our veterans were also honored on November 11 by members of our local Elks Club and by a ceremony here at The Terrace. We also kept busy playing scrabble, yahtzee, craft group, bingo, book club, exercise group, prayer group, creative coloring, and much more. Our residents and staff enjoyed a great Thanksgiving feast on Wednesday, November 25. We were all pretty stuffed, but grateful for the day and much, more -Gigi- LOOKING AHEAD TO DECEMBER NOVEMBER RECap Thanksgiving good wishes to all of you! It has been a beautiful November! Many of our residents have enjoyed the great weather, by working around The Terrace or simply setting on the porch, and enjoying the great warm days. During November we were entertained by Touch of Joy, Ray Brazelton, Richard Chaffee, and Aaron Karpella. We were also delighted to have Lincoln School Pre-K program come for a visit. The children were all dressed like Pilgrims, and sang lots of songs for us. They also shared books they had created about themselves. Our residents really enjoy the monthly visit from these young students. It is the talk of The Terrace for the day. During November we did a lot of fall baking pumpkin rolls, pumpkin bread, cookies and even candy acorns. We went shopping at Walmart, Wegmans, The Dollar Store, and Peebles. The ladies and the gentlemen both Happy Holidays! I cannot believe the holiday season is upon us. The year just flew. I am sure December will follow suit. We have many plans in place for the holidays. We will be baking lots of Christmas cookies again this year, to distribute on Christmas Eve to all of our residents. It is a great activity that many of our residents enjoy participating in. It is nice to share recipes and memories. We have lots of entertainment planned for December. A Touch of Joy, The Brick Church from Ontario, St. Mark s Church Choir, Aaron Karpella, Side by Side, Carol Gent and many more will be here to sing carols and spread Christmas Joy. Our friends from Lincoln School will be here on December 22 nd. I think we will be seeing lots of little elves singing and dancing in the living room that day. We will be out and about doing our regular shopping at Walmart, The Dollar Store and Wegmans. We also will be taking in some of the beautiful Christmas light displays when we take some evening scenic rides.

I am sure we will be busy crafting, singing carols, trimming trees, and other holiday activities all during December. In addition to all of that, we will be having our holiday door decorating activity. Our residents really liked decorating their doors and then touring the Terrace to see everyone s creations. We hope that everyone participates again this year. Supplies are available in the activity room. DECEMBER BIRTHDAYS 12/06 ROBERT T.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND MAY YOU HAVE MANY MORE!
