The machine is not a converted 4 th axis, spin indexer, rotary table or mini lathe. Custom designed from head to toe, the machine is built from all new parts that are made specifically for this machine and optimized to provide the dual roles of indexer and lathe head. The spindle is a single 4140 alloy steel forging and rides on premium double sealed SKF Explorer series ball bearings. For massive or cantilevered work pieces, choose the Ultra-T. The SKF tapered roller bearings can carry more than 7 times the load of ball bearings.
