Installation requirements This system is to be used in a location with a relative humidity from 30 to 75% and temperature from 15 to 30 C (59 to 86 F). The light which illuminates this system should be the color of natural light and limited to 3000 lux. If there are lights near to the system, they must be screened. In particular, if the product is installed near a window, use curtains or blinds to block direct sunlight from the product. Do not install the product in a place where the operator is exposed to direct sunlight. Avoid installing the product in areas with high dust levels or subject to vibration. Do not raise or lower the room temperature quickly. If you do so, moisture in the air is likely to condense in the system, causing lens fogging, film jams, malfunctions in the electronics and PCBs, etc. The mount should be strong enough to support the scanner mass. The system is programmed with default values prior to shipment. These values may differ depending on the environment and operating conditions. Change them as necessary. Subject to change without notice. 8
