Safety instructions 1 Safety instructions DANGER! Danger for children Ensure that plastic bags, packaging, etc. are disposed of properly and are not within reach of babies and young children. Choking hazard! Ensure that children do not detach any small parts (e.g. knobs or the like) from the unit. They could swallow the pieces and choke! Never let children unattended use electrical devices. e-drum set 4

Assembly 3 Assembly Assembling the rack CAUTION! Danger of cuts on hands and fingers When plugging the connections, take care for sharp edges on the metal pipes, screws etc. Loosen the screws of each terminal before inserting the pipes. Mount the various elements in the specified sequence. The positions of the pads, cymbals, etc. are shown in the illustration below. e-drum set 6
Assembly Connect the left side pipe (mainstay L) to the left base and tighten the allen screw of the terminal with the supplied drum key. Stabilise the unit with a crossbar (see figure). Then connect the right side pipe (mainstay R) to the right base and tighten the allen screw of the terminal with the supplied drum key. Stabilise the unit with a crossbar (see figure). Connect the top terminals of the left and right mainstay using the crossbeam of the rack and tighten the allen screws of the terminals firmly using the supplied drum key. Then stabilise the unit with a crossbar (see figure). MPS-200 7
Assembly Connect the top left side arm (L1) to the second terminal and the lower left side arm (L2) to the third terminal of the left side panel. Tighten the allen screws of the terminals firmly with the supplied drum key. Then connect the right side arm (R) to the second terminal of the right side panel and tighten the allen screws of the terminals firmly with the supplied drum key. e-drum set 8
Assembly Mounting pads on the rack Attach the supplied L-pieces to the pads. Tighten the wing nuts on the pads by hand first. Then slide the plastic ends of the L- pieces up to the stop into the designated terminals on the rack (see figure). Align the pads on the rack to meet your needs, then tighten the wing nuts of the pad brackets and the bolts of the retaining terminals on the rack firmly and evenly. Assembly Put the cymbal holders into the designated terminals on the rack (see figure) and tighten the allen screws of the terminals firmly with the supplied drum key. Unscrew the wing nuts from the cymbal holders and take the felt washers off the holders. Place the cymbals as shown in the figure on the holders. Then place the felt washers on the cymbals and fix the cymbals with the associated wing nuts on the holders. Mounting the drum module on the rack Attach the supplied L-piece to the drum module. Tighten the wing screw of the module hand-tight first. Then slide the plastic end of the L-piece up to the stop into the designated terminal on the left side arm of the rack (see figure). Align the module on the rack according to your needs and tighten the wing nut on the module as well as the screw of the pad clamp on the rack firmly and evenly. e-drum set 10
Assembly Kick drum pedal and pad Snap the two metal rods into the holes provided on the frame of the kick drum pedal. Place the beater into the hole provided on the rotary head of the pedal and tighten the terminal. Attach the drum pedal with the two screws on the bass drum pad and attach the beater to the pedal (see figure). Then mount the support device and place the bass drum pad centred under the rack. Position the pedal centred in front of the pad. Setting up and wiring Set up the rack, the pads and the cymbals according to your needs. As a final step, all triggers need to be wired to the drum module. Note the labelling on the drum module and the colour markings of each cable. MPS-200 11
Protecting the environment 4 Protecting the environment Disposal of the packaging material For the transport and protective packaging, environmentally friendly materials have been chosen that can be supplied to normal recycling. Ensure that plastic bags, packaging, etc. are properly disposed of. Do not just dispose of these materials with your normal household waste, but make sure that they are collected for recycling. Please follow the notes and markings on the packaging. Disposal of your old device This device is subject to the European directive 2002/96/EC. Do not dispose of the device with your normal household waste. Dispose of this device through an approved waste disposal firm or through your local waste facility. When discarding the device, comply with the rules and regulations that apply in your country. If in doubt, consult your local waste disposal facility. e-drum set 12
