1. Intro Hi, my name is Brett Hitchcock. Welcome to You Tube List Tornado. Firstly I want to thank you for having the faith in investing in this course. This course is all about how to get traffic from you tube to build your list. I have received a lot of questions lately about how to get traffic without actually having to pay for it and my friends and I've used You tube to get traffic to websites to build lists very effectively over the last couple of years. You tube is the second highest rated search engine on the planet and there is a massive amount of traffic on there so if you do this right you should see some really good results. So let's get into it. I just want to mention also, it doesn't really matter what Niche you choose, as long as it's a popular niche. I will talk a little bit more about this and how to choose your niche properly to make sure that you choosing something that is both popular and profitable. So it doesn't matter if you're going into Internet marketing or weight loss or any niche really as long as it meets certain criteria. So lets get into what we will be covering here

1. How to do research to get to know your market and ultimately why this is so important. This is something that a lot of people miss out on and they fail, so I am going to show you how to do this properly. 2. How to do keyword research to get traffic to your videos, a very important component of this whole thing 3. The key components of a great script via video to make sure you're attracting the right people to your list. 4. How and where to create a cool video for free. This is an option of course, if you ve got video making software already or you know how to do this you re welcome to use your own. I found a really good little resource online where anybody on a PC or Mac can make his or her own little video and it's very easy. 5. How to upload and optimise your video onto YouTube. Most of you probably know how to upload a video onto YouTube. I can show you how to optimise seeking get the maximum return and traffic on YouTube also how to promote your video once you've done and to get that traffic. 6. The next section in this video series I am going to show you the technique and skills needed to get this done. I ve had so many questions about just these little technical hold-ups. These videos will show you step by step on how to do this, I have even provided a template so you are well armed. This is a very simple template and let me tell you the big fancy convoluted ones don't work as well in my experience so I have provided a very simple template you can use in any niche. You can fill in the blanks & basically

copy and paste. I ll show you exactly what you're doing there plus how to get it up online. 7. Then it s onto how to set up a list. I use Aweber over Get Response. It s just a personal thing. If you use Get response it s all very similar stuff in there so you ll have no problem with that. 8. Then we cover how to set up your follow up emails. This is a very important aspect, also how to set up your thank you page and how to upload your thank you page onto the Internet. 2. Choosing A Niche This is the module on choosing a niche. A lot of people think research is pretty boring stuff and I tend to agree in some ways. Where it gets exciting is you really want to know your customer you really want to know what your customers problems are see can answer them and ultimately if you have the answers to those problems you be up to make money. You will be able to communicate on a level that shows them you know what their problems are, that way you can build trust with people and they will buy things from you because you know what your talking about. Let me give you an example. Your friend was overweight for a long time and they have recently lost a lot of weight. If you have a similar problem you would ask them what they did to lose it, right? More than likely if it was something that was aligned with you and something you could relate to you would give it a shot. You trust that person, you can see the result and you can see they know what they're talking about so you would more than likely trust the process. So that's a simple example of why you've got to build a good relationship with your customers and we've got to show them you know what you're talking about. Ok lets get into the nitty gritty here The first thing I want to ask yourself is why do you want to

build a list. I know everybody is touting online if you been online for more than 10 minutes you would have seen the money is in the list and yes that's true but the kind of list that you want to build and why you want to build a list is something you really need to understand inside yourself otherwise you'll get sidetracked and go off doing something else. Building a list is the most important thing to do when you want to make money online. There's been some figures thrown around that up to 80% of the sales made online through email marketing not on the front end business product. So for example, if somebody comes to a page and they see our product page for say $7, $10 or $50 they will more than likely not buy the first time that they go to that page. If you are able to capture their email our by giving them something for free, giving them some value you can then send them emails and more than likely after a couple of emails they will buy from you. You have shown that you know what you're talking about by building trust with them and that's really where most of the sales happen online. That's one of the main reasons why you want to build a list. The next question you need to ask yourself is What are you interested in? What is your passion?

The 3 big niches online are health, wealth and relationships. When there is a great need to solve something there is a lot of money to be made in by solving those problems. What you want to go for is the sub niches or even better the micro niches. You may have heard of these particular terms and the reason why we choose these is they are easier to actually promote. They are easier to rank for, easier to find people that actually want a specific targeted result. It's a lot easier to maintain their focus and to find your right audience using a sub or micro niche. If you just go into the health for instance you are competing with the really big health websites online and the little guys just don't get a chance. You are even better off finding a sub niche and then finding a micro niche within that sub niche that allows you to actually penetrate a market. Some examples for you The sub niche for instance would be losing weight within the health niche. The sub niche in the wealth niche would be how to make money online and the sub niche in relationships would be dating advice or dating courses Then a micro niche within losing weight is losing weight using fitness or losing weight using whole foods, all natural foods and a micro niche within how to make money online would be how to make money online using

list building or using affiliate marketing or CPA marketing. In the dating advice sub niche the micro niche is how to get your ex back Hopefully you can see where I'm going with this Let's go on through now and I'll show you how to do some research online see how you can get into the mind of your customer and get to know them and get to know their problems so stay tuned will get into that in the next chapter.

3. Research I am now going to show you exactly how I do my research. This is how I get into the customers mind and solve their problems. After this is done I will know exactly what to talk about you, know exactly what to promote. So the first thing I do is to choose my micro niche. For this particular example my micro niche will be weight loss using fitness. The first thing I would do is go to Amazon and have a look. Just put the keywords into the search bar. This is to make sure that the niche the micro niche that I've picked has actually got public interest. This is a great research device for that because you can see if there are books or videos or courses or whatever on this particular micro niche. People don't write books about things that don't have a market or where is no money. As you can see straight away we can see a lot of books on here proven techniques to build healthy habits and lose weight quickly.

When we put fitness into the search term we can see that there a lot of good things on here to get to know about fitness and nutrition. The next thing I would do is go to Google and put those particular keywords in there and see what comes up.

What I do is just go to the sites and I have a look and see what they're offering.

This first site is a huge forum. This is an absolute dynamite place to find out what people are talking about, what the problems are and what their concerns may be. This weight-loss community and the like are an absolute bonanza I've just found straight away, so these are great places just to find out what people are talking about what their problems are and how to solve them. The next thing to do is find a successful website in your niche. The best thing to do if you have your own product is find something similar that has lots of traffic going to it. If you are promoting someone else s product you will use their sales page as your source. You will see what I mean in a minute. The first site you go to is http://www.alexa.com Once you have found a website you think is appropriate i.e. has a lot of traffic or is a good competitor, or maybe as I said use the products sales page you are going to promote in a lot of cases. You then put the domain name into the query space up the top right corner and press enter. Here is a screen shot of the kind of results you can get even with a free account.

I am using a weight loss and fitness trainer as my example. Her name is Jillian Michaels and is pretty big time in that niche. This first shot gives you an overview of where your competitor ranks worldwide, the bounce rate, number of page views per visitor and the time on average they spend on the site. While that is interesting info, this doesn t help us much in what we are trying to achieve. Although, if you could get your site to that kind of ranking you would be doing very well indeed. Now, for the juicy bits

This shot tells us a lot of information that is imperative about our target market if we were targeting fitness or weight loss. If the pic isn t clear enough just go to Alexa yourself and put www.jillianmichaels.com into the query bar yourself and you will see them a lot more clearly.

The first section describes the demographics of the people visiting this site. You can see the gender is overwhelmingly female; they are pretty well educated and are browsing mostly from home. The second section tells us where the visitors are located. From this graph you can clearly see that most of the visitors are coming form the USA. The next section can be handy both for search engine optimization and also for ideas for words to use when talking to your potential customers. These are exact keywords the visitors put into the search engines to find this site so you can tell what their priority is from this as well. If you were looking at this site for a fitness product it may do very well but I would suggest that a weight loss product would do better because of the keywords listed there. I also use a site called http://www.compete.com and there are many other statistical gathering sites out there, again just Google it and you will find plenty of them.

4. Keyword Research In this chapter I will teach you how to do keyword research so that you can use these keywords to rank your videos on you Tube. First thing I do is go to the Google Keyword Planner. You ll need a Gmail account for this and we simply search for new keyword. Click on search for new keywords and ad group ideas. Then we go to this page and we put our main keywoprd into the box provided and see what comes up.

Click on get ideas and then a new page loads and we get our ideas. Click on the tab that says keyword ideas.

We now will be looking for low competition keywords that are to do with weight loss fitness. Find 10 to 20 keywords that relate to your niche that have more than 1,000 monthly searches and have low competition. If you cannot find low comp keywords or that search volume, try to stick to above 500 monthly searches and there are two things you can do for the competition. You can re enter some of the keywords you have found back into the planner to find more or you can choose a few medium comp keywords. Export those keywords or wrote them down for later. And that s it. Lets go to the next stage

5. The Video Script In this chapter I want to give you some script ideas for your videos. Copywriting is a really deep subject and is all about the getting to know the psychology of your buyer and working on how you can get your message to them while convincing them that your product is the best thing they could do for their particular problem. It's a very very big subject and I haven't got time in this ebook to cover everything about copywriting but I would like to give you certain specific ideas for the purpose that we've got here today. The first thing I would ask you was what would be the 4 or 5 most urgent questions that need to be answered that you found during the research in your niche. Remember when we were doing the research in your niche we are looking for issues that people had questions about. What they are asking in the forums, in yahoo answers and generally on blogs that we can find. What would it mean to your prospects life to have these questions answered? I suggest you get a piece of paper out and you write this down because it will give you a really good idea on the kind of things to put in your slides on YouTube video. If you had to choose just one answer to these urgent questions what would it be for each of them.

I suggest finding one answer for all if you can. If you can successfully do this exercise you will have some powerful copy for your video that will have people clicking like mad on your link. This is because they are the 4 to 5 most urgent questions that need to be answered to free your your prospect and if you can do that you can build massive trust and you can build massive alignment between you and your client. This way they feel really congruent and safe about buying from you. Design these video slides as questions. Now what we also want do is to ask questions that bring up a little bit of pain or discomfort and remind the person of why the solution to the problem is a great idea right now. Then tell them about the solution have them imagine would it would be like to have the problem solved. So the idea is to put them into pain first and then give them a solution that fits perfectly. You are taking them on this little ride that allows them to feel the issue and then get a release from that issue and that's exactly what you want to be doing. Then give them a call action to visit your link for more info on the solution. The call to action is a VERY important part of any sales let our sales device that you have out there on the Internet.

I don't know how many people I talk to, especially off-line businesses that have no call to action on their advertising whatsoever. A call to action is simply saying something like click this link for more information Maybe you might think it's silly or to apparent to have to tell people what to do but you really have to tell people what to do. The truth is they really want to be directed when they are in a state of indecision. They need that direction and that's not to be pompous it's just a gentle shove to the customer to help them make the right decision to buy your product. So the outline of the video would be urgent question number one urgent question number two urgent question number three and urgent question number four If you can only come up with one or two questions that's fine, just make sure they are the urgent ones and are the ones at the forefront of your prospects mind. Obviously asking questions like how will I lose weight fast using simple exercises is not the correct tense. You don't actually want to be asking them that question in that format.

You want to be asking a question like how would you like to know how to lose weight fast while doing simple exercises? That's the way you would do it. So you take their question and then you turn around. Another example is would you like to know or imagine what would be like see yourself doing There is an absolute massive amount of information on the Internet on persuasive selling I suggest you go and start studying the Gary Halbert letters. They are amazing for learning masterful copywriting. Get into this stuff if you want to be successful online because it really makes a difference. There are two things online - traffic and conversions. You want to get both of them very right. To recap urgent question one urgent question 2, 3, 4, 5 etc Then tell them about the way your product gives them the solution and prove to them why it is very important. Then give a call to action again to find out more by clicking the link This is the structure I used to create compelling and interesting videos for those who have a specific problem in a specific niche.

They then will relate to it because you're answering their questions. You are a marketer and your job is to find solutions for people's problems and deliver them in the easiest way possible. 6. How To Make Your Videos In this chapter I am going to show you how to make a video using simple free software found online. You can use this with PC or Mac because it's all webbased. The site is called Pro Show Web. Just search for it in Google. Signup at the free link and then log in. This is what it looks like inside. So click on the button that says new show. Then you will be taken to a template page. Try to choose a template that is not too busy and will suit your niche. I have chosen a template called picture pages.

Then name your video. Then you will be inside the editor. Then click on add content and choose add a title slide.

Then type the text to ask your first question. Make sure you format it like this so it looks good on the video.

The next thing we do is add a picture that relates to the question we just asked. Here is a really good royalty free resource for pics I found. It called pixabay. You will need to sign up for an account to download but it is a great resource and everything is royalty free on there. So choose some photos and put them on your hard drive ready for uploading into Pro Show Web.

Then we go to add content again and choose to add picture from your computer. Then we add another text and then another pic until we have all our questions covered. Then we add the all important call to action at the end of the video. Make sure you direct them to click the link in the description box below.

Then click on build show and it will build your video. So that s it for this chapter. The next chapter I will show you how to put music into your video.

7. How To Add Music To Your Videos In this chapter I will cover how to add music to our videos. First select the show that we saved before and click open. Then click on edit show And then add music.

Then we click add music track Then choose our music track

Then choose build video again and save it to your hard drive. The next video I will show you how to upload to You Tube and optimize your videos for maximum return.

8. How To Upload and Optimize You Tube. We are about to upload our video to you Tube and optimise it for rankings. So let's go so grab the video I have on my hard drive that I did pro show web and I let it upload. Then while that is uploading I will go and grab my keywords find the first one. We need to make a video for each keyword preferably and the idea is to use the keyword in both the title, description, and the tags section. Put the keyword in the title and change it so it makes sense. Then write a simple description and add a call to action. Go to bitly.com (or any url shortener) and you re your squeeze page link into a shorter URL then paste it into the description box.

Then add the rest of your keywords to the bottom of the description box. Then add your keywords as tags Then go to advanced settings.

Turn off comments, ratings and choose your category. then press publish and your video is uploaded and optimized. In the next video I will show you how to promote your videos to get traffic. Note : Ranking is is not an exact science. Anyone touting that it is an exact thing or guarantees it is just lying to you. I am giving you the best chance you've got to rank using these techniques. Do not stress if your videos do not make to the first page of Google. You will still get lots of traffic for videos that rank on page 2, 3, 4 or even further out. There is just so much traffic on you tube you will get a good enough share for this to work for you.

9. How To Promote Your Videos The first thing to do is click on the share button below the video. See all these links for social media? Go and sign up for accounts at all these places if you haven t done that already. I do not bother with the two Russian looking ones (unless you speak Russian) but all the rest are important as they will give you some powerful backlinks to your video. Just click on each link and share them once you have logged in to each of these accounts.

The next thing to do is go to bulkping.com and submit your site to both the mass ping and fast index backlink sections. Then go to submitexpress.com and submit your video there. There are a few more very powerful ways to make sure your videos get lots of views and traffic. I have included them in the videos for this course so if you grabbed them have a look. 10. Unannounced Bonus The Giveaway This chapter is all about your giveaway. What are we going to give away your customers in exchange for their email address? There is a couple ways you can do this You can write a ebook yourself which is obviously free. This will take you a little bit of time. The report doesn't have to be novel length, it can be 5-10 pages, as long as it is really concise and really gives a lot of value. The length is not exactly a big issue. I've seen one page reports that do really well, like 10 ways to lose weight while exercising at home would be a great one. Go to Google and see what comes up for the search 10 ways to lose weight while exercising at home. Grab about 3 articles and make sure you re write it in your own style. The next thing you can do is get some PLR. I use a site called master-resale-rights.com and I re write the content to fit my exact needs. The other thing you can do is have someone else write it for you. Just go to fivverr.com and put in ebook writing and you will find plenty of people who can do a quality product there.

You could also do a video, audio, a cheat sheet or an interview with an expert works well too. So go forth and remember to give massive value so you win over your subscribers with great content.
