Worry Free Cremation In order that our clients may have a high degree of confidence in the cremation process, we have developed this Worry Free Cremation Process that your family may take an active part in. Five Steps Prior To Cremation: 1. The wrist identification band is placed on your loved one at the time we come to your home, hospital or other care facility. 2. The cremation container is labeled with your loved one s name when they are placed into the secure refrigeration facility. 3. Your loved one is logged into the facility logbook with name, date, time and driver s name and then placed into the secure refrigeration facility. 4. The Manager reviews all cremation paperwork and permits to insure authorizations and permits have been received. They must sign the crematory checklist. 5. If you wish, the family may witness the cremation. The state-of-the-art cremation facility is set up to allow family members to be present when the body is placed into the cremation chamber. In fact, some religious groups include this as part of their funeral custom. At this point, the body is not embalmed; therefore the body may not be viewed in the cremation facility. If you choose to have a final goodbye, we would be honored to make arrangements for a final goodbye as a part of the initial arrangements with the family. See the many options for viewing within this guide. Five Steps During and After Cremation: 1. Your loved one is removed from the refrigeration facility and noted in the facility logbook. The log shows date and time of cremation and crematory operator s name. 2. The crematory checklist is dated; start time noted and signed immediately before and after the cremation takes place. 3. The crematory checklist and numbered identification tag are placed on the control panel of the cremation chamber during the cremation process. 4. After the cremation is completed, the cremated remains are swept out and taken to the processing station. The crematory checklist and numbered identification tag are placed on the processing station until the processing of the cremated remains is complete. 5. The number on the numbered identification tag and the cremation checklist are reviewed. A cremation certificate and label are created prior to the placement of the cremated remains in the urn selected by the family, or the temporary container. Once all the security information has been verified, the cremated remains are placed in the urn.

So that the deceased remains in an essentially refrigerated state, we respectfully request that the identification be no longer than 30 minutes from the time we agree to begin. In the interest of full disclosure while minimizing movement of the deceased, the identification occurs in the container that will shelter the deceased prior to cremation and will be later consumed in the cremation process.
