A few important pointers before you start: Please read the instructions right through before you start, and check that all the components have been included in the pack; we find separating all the hardware into piles makes it easier to be sure that everything is present and correct. Make sure you have the right tools. Allen keys are provided if required, but screw drivers and other tools are not. You ll find details of the tools you need at the beginning of the instructions. It s a good idea to build the unit in the room where you are going to be using it, to avoid the need to move it after it s been assembled. Do not throw away any packing materials until assembly is complete, just in case you accidentally discard smaller parts or hardware. Upper Bunk not suitable for Children under 6 years due to the risk of injury from falls. Lower Bunk not suitable for Children under 4 years. This bed is suitable for mattress size 190cmL x 90cmW x 15cmD Adult assembly required. This product is heavy, we recommend that you build it where you are planning to use it. Assemble and use on a flat and level surface. Do not use power tools in the construction of this product. Unassembled product contains small parts which may present a choking hazard. Children should be kept away from the product during assembly to avoid any possible risk of injury. Do not place this bed near heat sources, windows or other furniture. WARNING! Children can become trapped between the bed and the wall. To avoid risk of serious injury the distance between the top safety barrier and the wall shall not exceed 75mm nor shall be more than 230mm. WARNING! Children can strangle in items such as ropes, strings, cords, harnesses and belts attached or hung from a bunk bed, midsleeper or high bed. Check fixtures and fittings regularly and tighten as necessary. Do not use this bed if any part becomes broken, torn or missing. STP 1: Take the upper bunk headboards G, 4x headboard rails, lower bunk headboards F, R leg front panels C and L leg front panels D and insert the shorter wooden dowels () into the edges of the panels, as shown. Use a hammer for this step. G 4x STP 2: Build the two R legs by securing one of the R leg side panels A to one of the R leg front panels C using the bolts (). Repeat for the second R leg. Now build the two L legs by securing one of the L leg side panels B to one of the R leg front panels D using the of the two bolts (). Repeat for the second L leg. Tighten fully with the Allen key. STP 3: STP 4: Assemble the bed end by locating one set of the upper and lower headboards and headboard rails into the L assembled leg. Once all 4 panels are in place locate the R assembled leg into place. Repeat this for the second bed end. Secure these panels to the assembled legs using the shorter screws (). STP 5: Take the front guard rails J, 1x rear guard rail I and 4x side rails and insert the longer wooden dowels () as shown. IMPORTANT: Two people are required from this point forward. J I J I 4x ardware for Step 5: ardware for Step 6: 6x Connecting Bolts STP 6: Attach the rear side rails and rear guard rail I to one of the assembled bed ends using the connecting bolts and barrel nuts as shown. Attach the upper side rail and front guard rails J to the assembled bed ends using the connecting bolts and barrel nuts as shown. STP 10: Secure the 3x tread panels L to the ladder sides with the longer bolts (). STP 11: Secure the ladder to the upper and lower frame rails with the longer bolts (). Tighten the bolts using the Allen key provided.
