Suspense is created when an author builds and prolongs an inevitable crises, all the while pulling the reader further into the plot. Reread chapter 47. Identify three moments that lead to the suspenseful climax of Marlee being locked in the trunk. Sketch those 3 moments (as if creating a comic strip) and label them.
