1 CAUTION: Wall Mounting Wood Stud Mounting CAUTION: Improper use could reduce the holding power of the lag bolt. To avoid potential injuries or property damage: Pilot holes MUST be drilled to a depth of 63.5 mm (2.5 in.), using a 3 mm (1/8 in.) diameter drill bit. DO NOT over-tighten the lag bolts [12]. Any material covering the wall must not exceed 16 mm (5/8 in.). Minimum wood stud size: common 2 x 4 in. (nominal 1.5 x 3.5 in.) [02] Level the wall plate [02] and mark the hole locations. 3 4 Drill pilot holes as illustrated. Tighten the lag bolts [12] only until the washers [11] are pulled firmly against the wall plate [02]. 2 1 A B Mount column onto wall mount [02] by aligning the slots of the column's locking bar with the hooks on the wall mount [02]. [02] 2 (S) When the column is pressed onto the wall mount [02], the locking bar will lift slightly (see A) then drop over the hooks of the wall mount (see B). To lock the column in place, press the rear locking bar down and replace top locking screw (S) and tighten. 3 1 [04] 2 1.5 mm (1/16 in.) Add shelf rests [04] to [03] shelf brackets [03] by fitting them into notch on edge of shelf brackets [03] and pressing down to secure. Add nut plate [05] to [14] shelf bracket with screws [10] using the 5/32 in. hex key [14]. [10] [05] Leave a gap of 1.5mm (1/16 in.) between the nut plate [05] and the back of the bracket [03].
