Once you submit your final exam, don t freak out about your grade! You can earn up to an additional 30 points once I hand grade your essay responses.

Permit Test While proceeding through the course, you may see a pop-up screen offering an online permit test (which is the Road Rules and Road Signs Test). Here are several things for you to know: 1. The permit test is something you take IN ADDITION to the course final exam. The entire Driver s Ed course, including the final exam, is free. 2. There is a convenience fee of $30 to take the test online. This is in addition to the permit fee you will pay at the DMV (around $50). 3. You must be 15 18 years old to take the permit test. 4. If you would like to take the online permit test, please first complete the Driver s Ed course so you will be better prepared to pass the permit test.

Benefits of Completing this Course Driver s Education 1. Raise your high school GPA. Final Exam Review 2. Earn ½ an elective credit. 3. Satisfy the state graduation requirement of completing an online course. 4. Receive a Drug and Alcohol Certificate required to obtain permit/license. 5. Possibly lower your car insurance rates. Call your insurance provider for information. 6. Become a better, safer driver!

Steps for getting your Permit (if you don t have it already) Driver s Education 1. Complete this Driver Education course, which counts as the 4-hour Drug and Alcohol course/test. Exam Review 2. Follow the instructions to download and print your Drug and Alcohol Receipt. 3. Take the Road Rules Test and Road Signs Test (This is IN ADDITION to the Driver s Ed course.) You may take the tests in person at the DMV or online.
