Wide format printing led into a new dimension The :Anapurna 2500 LED prints in 3 quality throughput modes on uncoated rigids as well as on roll media at widths of up to 2,5 m (100 ) and at speeds of up to 60 m 2 /h. Applications encompass posters, billboards, fleet displays, POS & POP displays, exhibition panels, stage graphics, construction announcements, ad panels etc. :Anapurna 2500 LED produces highly saturated top quality colours at resolutions up to 1440 dpi, using Agfa made UV curable inks. Led lamps radiate no infra-red heat and therefore they do not influence the media that is printed. Hence transport of heat sensitive media (foam board, foils, pvc or other heat sensitive material) poses no issues. Immediate start-up. Since led lamps don t need to warm up you can start printing immediately after starting up the printer. It makes your business flexible in case of unexpected rush jobs for instance. Much higher safety. There are no UVC rays in led lamps and there is no ozone emitting nor is there risk in bulbs breaking. Robustness. Led lamps contain no moving mechanical parts (such as a shutter) and they are therefore much more reliable.

This long wave-length enables an ink curing that goes deep into the ink layer. The :Anapurna 2500 LED ink contains a photo-initiation/absorption system which is fine-tuned to work with the specific spectral outputs of the LED lamps. This perfect spectral match guarantees an outstanding adhesion, high scratch resistance and a non tacky ink surface on a wide range of media types. Short wave curing Long wave curing :Anapurna 2500 LED produces a large colour gamut with vibrant saturated colours, as requested in many outdoor printing applications. Depending on the quality throughput mode, :Anapurna 2500 LED jets droplet sizes that range from 8 to 24 picoliter. Jetting small ink droplets with an optimised pigment concentration results in low ink consumption and therefore a very attractive cost of ownership.

UPH printhead for an unrivalled quality of output The heart of the :Anapurna 2500 LED is the unique Agfa Universal PrintHead. This UPH is a piezo shared-wall printhead with resolutions ranging from 360 up to 1440 DPI. Each head has 764 nozzles and fires at 40kHz speed. This head enables printing at very high quality levels, not sacrificing on productivity. Flush Brush for automated maintenance With this automated maintenance system, cleaning fluid is pumped with high flow velocity towards the nozzle plate. This strong fluid flow creates turbulence in the dense array of soft teflon hairs. Finally the nozzles are vacuum cleaned. Debris and ink residues on the nozzle plate and in the nozzle cores are removed efficiently resulting in smooth and reliable printing. Accurate media transport for reliable printing The transport system is based on the interactive operation of 1 static and 2 dynamic vacuum tables. Media is kept in a tensionless state during each consecutive step. Next to that a special clamping system prevents media from slipping or moving, whether printing roll material or rigids. High ink autonomy The 5 liter jerry cans per colour, ensure a very high ink autonomy. The internal ink buffer system contains 7 litre per colour. Ink temperature and de-gassing are continuously monitored to keep the :Anapurna 2500 LED ink in excellent condition at all times, ensuring the best possible printing quality. Robustness for accurate dot placement The robust design of the double beam structure ensures that the head carriage moves along the entire printing width with the utmost precision. The result is an accurate dot placement for reliable printing results. Head positioning device for stable printing A head positioning device keeps the nozzle plate of all heads 100% planparallel with the substrates at all times.
