Unmatched anti-galling due to combination of specific proprietary crimping process, optimized design and HI-KOTE 4 NC coating. No damage on composite material due to the optimized bearing surface. USER-FRIENDLY ASSEMBLY The STARLITE design is suitable for a wide range of assembly constraints associated with composite structures. Cleaner work environment HI-KOTE 4 NC coating contains improved lubricating agents in its formulation in order to avoid the use of cetyl alcohol as a secondary lubricant, thus authorizing a cleaner work environment and good paint or sealant adhesion. Compatibility with shank oversize 0.5 Max Tolerant to structure and assembly variations STR nuts are compatible with nominal, 1st and 2nd oversize pins. A specific reference is required only for 3rd oversize. Structure slope variation of 0.5 is accepted by the STARLITE plain nuts. Self aligning nut version allows for installation up to 5 angle. Limited structure damage Optimized bearing area eliminates damage to the structure and a captive washer solution is proposed for more severe applications. Reliable and easy inspection STR nut installation can be inspected using conventional tools and gages.
