SCHEDULE 1 TO APPENDIX B SOLUTION REQUIREMENTS 1 Equipment required by survey/triage teams within hours of an emergency situation occuring Person portable/hand-held device able to provide at least 1 voice circuit from any location able to provide internet access with rates 0.5Mbps or higher able to be used with pico/mico mobile base station equipment provided by local Island operator(s) Cost below $2k US per terminal Low on-going cost battery power sufficient for at least 6 hour continuous operation portable/able to be carried through difficult terrain by one person rugged weather proof less than 20kg Comply Comment Page 1 of 5
