superior Performance Speedy, small and tough Sometimes speed is of the essence. When something is changing in your processes, you need to know about it quickly. The short response times (for water t 0.5 = 3.2 s, t 0.9 = 9.0 s) of the compact temperature sensors mean that you will have the data you need to react just in time, every time. These are the perfect sensors for any application where space is a challenge. If there are places where you were unable to put temperature sensors before, you now have new options. Due to their small housing and reduced number of parts, the compact sensors are also much less susceptible to mechanical stress. They don t get in the way, and are less prone to accidental damage. Easy by design We have taken an immense amount of care to design not just a great product, but to make everything about it as easy for you as possible. Thanks to preconfigured temperature ranges, the OPTITEMP compact sensors are much simpler to order, easy to install and maintain. M12 or EN 175301-803 connectors make the electrical connection to control and measuring systems a quick and straightforward job. Since there are no moving parts, significantly less maintenance is required. And thanks to fixed measuring ranges, replacing a sensor becomes a simple task that requires no extra configuration. 7
superior Performance Rock-solid accuracy that lasts At merely ±0.1 % of span per year, the OPTITEMP compact sensors deliver supreme long-term measuring stability. The instruments require minimal calibration, and will facilitate long term worry-free and reliable process control. The EN 60751 Class A Pt100 element ensures a high level of unwavering process accuracy. The solid mechanical design has no removable parts, which makes the sensors highly resistant to mechanical stress. Adverse environmental conditions are no challenge for these instruments. Operating flawlessly in temperatures from -40 to +85 C / -40 to +185 F, they can be deployed in a wide range of applications. Classed IP67, the sensors are dust tight and can be used in wet outdoor environments. Even in fluctuating environments, the influence of ambient temperature will not exceed ±0.01 C/ F. 8
