www.reinhausen.com SIEMOS PQ The Multi-Functional Power Quality Analyzer for Low and Medium-Voltage Networks
SIEMOS PQ the power quality analyzer for every application The SIEMOS PQ three-phase network analysis system is the ideal tool for the daily discovery and analysis of network quality problems. It meets the specifications of IEC 61000-4-30, class A, regarding the demands on a modern and flexibly utilizable measuring system. This means that the SIEMOS PQ network analysis system permits ad - vanced analyses for all kinds of structured power distribution systems and consistent testing of standards. The implemented measuring and evaluation algorithms make it easy to evaluate the voltage quality in accordance with the standards EN50160 and EN61000-2-4 for low and medium-voltage distribution networks. In addition, SIEMOS PQ enables you to perform load analyses and power measurements in any kind of structured power distribution network. Thanks to the integrated fault recording function, even transient events in both the measuring voltage and measuring current can be recorded and analyzed. Finally, the ability to perform remote control frequency measurements rounds off this function package. SIEMOS PQ four measuring devices in one With the help of the SIEMOS PQ network analysis system, power quality can be analyzed and evaluated for the medium and low-voltage networks of industry and the power providers that use threephase measurement of network variables. SIEMOS PQ can acquire up to 1,900 different measured values (e.g., voltage, current, frequency, power, voltage unbalances, flicker, harmonics and intermediate harmonics) in one continuous recording. Based on the particular measuring task, any measuring interval between 1 second and 30 minutes can be selected without having to restrict the number of parameters to be analyzed. In addition, threshold and limit values, evaluation algorithms and measuring functions are flexible and can be adjusted to each evaluation task. The SIEMOS PQ network analysis system records a wide range of details applicable to the parameters selected by the user. Just a few examples: Cyclic data (network frequency, voltages, currents, powers) Manually and automatically-triggered oscilloscope recordings Manually and automatically-triggered recordings of 10-msec RMS (Root-Mean-Square) values Audio-frequency remote control signals Power quality events To ensure that this wide range of measuring functions is provided, SIEMOS PQ combines four functional measuring devices in one hardware and software platform. Function 1: Statistic measurement as per EN50160 / IEC61000-2-2 / IEC61000-2-4 Function 2: Cyclic measurement as statistic measurement in an arbitrary measurement interval Function 3: Oscilloscope measurements for acquisition of transient events Function 4: Fast RMS value measurements (10-msec, RMS values)
SIEMOS PQ mobility pure The dimensions of the basic device make it a compact measuring device. Due to the high degree of protection (IP65), it can be used in all power supply systems as well as under the sometimes rugged conditions of industrial systems (e.g., even coal mining operations!). The device's design as well as the insulation of the signal inputs and the insulation of the measuring device itself comply with the requirements of IEC61010-1 for measuring categories CATIII (600 V) and CAT IV (300 V). The device can be powered either by existing low-voltage power supply systems or the measuring voltage. The SIEMOS PQ is equipped with a built-in, uninterruptible power supply as a power backup. SIEMOS PQ is equipped with a four-line display indicating either the Setup parameters or various screens with measured values or status information while a measurement is being made. The keys Start/Stopp (start/stop), Manual Trigger (manual trigger), Scroll through Display (page) and Setup make the device easy to use even without external software. All primary measurement settings can be made on the device itself - without extra software. The measured data are stored in an internal, non-volatile, 1-Gbyte data memory. The measured values can be stored over long periods of time of up to one year depending on the number of parameters to be evaluated and the measuring interval selected. The SIEMOS PQ is equipped with a high-speed USB 2.0 interface for transferring the measured values from internal memory to the PC. Evaluation of the data acquired by the SIEMOS PQ network analysis system is simple with the included WinPQ mobile software. You can run individual single evaluations with this software or generate automatic reports based on previously defined standard values. SIEMOS PQ customer benefits include variability and versatile use The network analysis system device is designed to cover a wide range of application areas in low and medium-voltage systems. Analysis of both steady-state and transient faults Recognition of the cause of device malfunctions for later damage minimization and preventive maintenance Adherence to service quality demands Network quality check at the power feed-in point Network quality measurement Evaluation of the basic network quality to check compatibility with critical systems prior to installation Real load measurement Capacity check of the electrical systems before power consumers are connected Evaluation of power consumption and network quality Check of the effects of system improvements by measuring power consumption, power factors and the general network quality before and after the improvements are implemented
SIEMOS PQ system safety with intelligent accessories The SIEMOS PQ network analysis system includes the basic device and extensive accessories for the connection of voltage and current channels. Various test clips (including fuseprotected models) are included for the connection of the voltage channels to the system voltages to be measured. When you measure the currents, you no longer have to provide galvanic connection of the measuring device to the current circuits that you want to measure. The standard package contains a set (4 each) of high-precision, mini current clamps (100 ma to 22 A RMS) especially for measurements in secondary circuits of current transformers in medium and high-voltage systems. In addition, the standard package includes a set (4 each) of Rogowski coils (1 A to 5300 A RMS) for measurements on cable or bus bar systems in low-voltage systems. The special type of construction of both types of current clamps ensures high precision in the frequency range from 40 Hz to 5 khz with an amplitude and angle fault of less than 1% of the particular measured value. You no longer need to provide special parameterization of the current connectors in the Setup of the particular measurement SIEMOS PQ automatically recognizes the connected current clamp set by the coding in their plug connectors and sets the measuring ranges accordingly. This means that the device no longer has to be separately told the transformation ratio of the particular clamp. The measuring system comes in a sturdy carrying case for safe transportation of the basic device and its accessories.
SIEMOS PQ and WinPQ mobile measured data handling made easy Up to 1,900 system parameters can be recorded over a long period of time with the internal, 1-Gbyte system memory. This seems like a tough job for the software that is responsible for evaluating the measured network data. The WinPQ mobile software is especially adapted to the SIEMOS PQ and makes child s play out of this evaluation job. WinPQ mobile allows both online evaluation of the measured parameters and a detailed evaluation after conclusion of a measurement (offline evaluation) and transmission of the data from the device to the PC. In online mode, the shapes of the latest curves of the particular voltage and current signals can be presented in realtime. In addition, online mode enables a realtime presentation of the harmonics spectrum (including intermediate harmonics) up to 5,000 Hz. The DC portion of the signal value can also be evaluated. In addition to these variables, online mode permits a realtime presentation of the direction of power flow of the harmonics at the measuring point and the latest power values (active power, reactive power, distortion reactive power, cos(phi) displacement factor and Lambda power factor). In offline mode, detailed individual evaluations can be made as well as an automatically generated measuring report based on previously defined limit values. Individual evaluation is available for all cyclic parameters recorded in a free measurement interval (1 second to 30 minutes) such as network frequency, voltages, currents and powers. In addition, recordings of transient events can be evaluated as oscilloscope recordings or recordings of 10-ms RMS values. A special feature of the SIEMOS PQ is its ability to record any frequency in the range from 0 Hz to 5 khz in addition to the harmonics. This function can evaluate the magnitude of remote control signals. As with the other measuring signals too, this function can be used to trigger a certain, previously defined remote control frequency and thus acquire, present and evaluate complete telegrams. The WinPQ mobile has an integrated report generator for highspeed statistical evaluation of measured values with regard to standard conformance. The values that are measured over a period of time are evaluated in easy-to-understand diagrams and tables with regard to the pre-specified, applicable standard. A printout of the report with customer-specific header and detail data as well as the previously generated diagrams and tables provides you with quick, systematic documentation of the results of your measurements.
