The camps range from one week day camps or residential to 3 week day camps or residential. Camps start for students currently in fourth grade. Camp descriptions are included below and pricing and full applications can be found at http://www.oceanology.org/science-camps. There are opportunities for FREE camp this summer for a few Waterford residents. The free camp is Ocean Camp which is a one week overnight camp for students in grade 6-12. As a member school system, Waterford has 5 positions in the Ocean Camp program. The application for ocean camp spots will be sent to all Waterford teachers.(see attachment) If you are interested in attending as one of those 5, please fill out the sponsorship application. With the application, write a minimum 3 paragraph essay that explains why you should be chosen. This essay must be written by the student. The application and essay must be sent to Mr. O Connor at WHS by March 31. Any questions can be directed to admin@oceanology.org or moconnor@waterfordschools.org.
