WIRELESS-COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS Nowadays there is a need of a timely and reliable exchange of important information and contents between people. You need to speak to listen at the same time and to be of course clearly understandable! At this purpose from long time Wisycom has been elaborating a high-technology to project its wireless Full-duplex intercom and In Ear Monitoring & Talk-back systems. These systems are able to work with a medium-band and narrow-band transmitting mode, and they have been developed for professional applications in the Broadcast, Theatres and Sound-reinforcements fields. Wisycom high-technology, thanks to its long-experience, allows to work without any noise, annoyance or trouble. CRT 16 Communication full-duplex belt transceiver CPR 30 IEM and talk-back pocket receiver Both RX and TX can fit in the same UHF band (400 550 MHz). Very close frequency s distance between RX and TX channels (10 MHz only) allows full-duplex operations with exceptional working quality, flexibility and great frequency s saving. Only two adjacent 8 MHz TV channels are enough to allocate an intermodulation-free multi-channel full-duplex system. 16 RX + 16 TX switchable frequencies in the units. Narrow-band or medium-band operation improves flexibility and frequency s saving. Outstanding audio quality and exceptional low-noise operations. Easy PC frequency-reprogramming by the user (in the pre-set switching-windows). Carefully designed audio in/out circuits allow the use of any kind of brand mic/headphones set, coupled by sturdy multi-pole connector. Suitable for very complex multi-channel systems, thanks to the extremely-high RX-intermodulation immunity and the outstanding TX-signal clearness. Exceptional sturdiness and absolute reliability. UHF band (400 530 MHz). Great switching-window (10 MHz). 32 switchable frequencies in 2 groups. Narrow-band or medium-band operation improves flexibility and frequency s saving. Superb audio quality and exceptional low-noise operations. Easy PC frequency-reprogramming by the user (in the pre-set switching-windows). Supplied with Fischer or jack (mono or stereo) audio connector. It works with any kind of headphones or earpieces. Suitable for very complex multi-channel systems, thanks to the extremely-high intermodulation immunity and RF/IF selectivity. Exceptional sturdiness and absolute reliability. 1

WIRELESS-COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS FULL-DUPLEX BIDIRECTIONAL SYSTEMS Thanks to its fully modular compositions, you can make up several Base Units configurations. As for the Unidirectional Systems, full-duplex systems can be mounted either in Portable Minirack (with different widths, depending on the required number of modules) and in standard 19 /1U or 19 /3U rackframes. The Base Unit can be one single-channel or multi-channel type. The are available two types of Transmitters and Receiver Modules: in a vertical-shape (3U height) and horizontal-shape (1U height). Regarding the output power of the Transmitters, we are used to offer units with an output power that can be factory pre-set in a value between 10 mw (to comply the ETSI norms related to free-use Base Units in UHF TV frequency range, is it a more than suitable power to cover a big TV studio) and 300 mw (that allows a great operating distance up to more than one mile). 2W Transmitter Module (in a vertical shape) is available for even longer distances. The working frequencies can be set in two 7 MHz switching-windows between 400 550 MHz, with a minimum distance of about 10 MHz between them. The Transmitter and Receiver Modules are endowed with a balanced and ground-isolated audio line connections. The audio input of the Transmitter has a very great input-level adjustment capability, to allow the easiest connection with all type of audio sources. The output level of the Receiver Module is in the range of line value. WISYCOM wireless-communication systems for the DVB-T scenario Both RX and TX links use the same UHF band (400 550 MHz), granting the maximum frequency s saving and the best integration with other wireless-systems. All units present 16 RX and/or 16 TX switchable frequencies. Narrow-band or medium-band operation assures the maximum flexibility of use and frequency s saving. Suitable for very complex multi-channel systems, thanks to the extremely high RX-intermodulation-immunity and RF/IF selectivity and TX-signal-clearness. Superb audio quality and exceptional low-noise operations. The Base Unit s transmitter and receiver modules are endowed with audio connections lines, which are balanced and isolated by transformer. This assures the best and easiest connection with any kind of AF-sources, AF-loads and wired intercom systems. The automatic limiter on transmitter s input prevents any overload. The working-frequencies can be easy reprogrammed by PC. Fully modular architecture allows the simplest building and even further improves of any kind of wireless-intercom system. Exceptional sturdiness and absolute reliability. Very great working-areas can be easily covered by the connection of more Base-units together, in master/slave architecture, with synchronized frequencies and diversity reception. WISYCOM systems modular architecture Wisycom wireless-intercom systems architecture is fully-modular. It is possible and simple to build working systems in different ways, depending on user s requirements. The systems can be custom configured according to the several needs of the operators. Here are some main examples: A) All belt-pack transceivers receive the same audio-signal from the basestation and transmit, one at the time by PTT push-button, to the base. While speaking, the transceiver operates in full-duplex mode (it listens to and speaks at the same time). Double-click pushing on on the PTT pushbutton, the transceiver starts to operate in continuous transmitting (and receiving at the same time) till the push-button is pressed again. The base-station is composed by the following RF units: transmitters = n. 1 receivers = n. 1 Required frequencies (on base-station): transmitting = n. 1 receiving = n. 1 B) All belt-pack transceivers receive the same audio-signal from the base-station and can transmit at the same time (in full-duplex mode) to the base. The base-station is composed by the following RF units: transmitters = n. 1 receivers = n. 1, Required channels (on base-station): transmitting = n. 1 receiving = n. 1, C) Each belt-pack transceiver receives a separate audio-signal from the basestation and can transmit at the same time to the base. The base-station is composed by the following RF units: transmitters = n. 1, for each belt-pack transceiver used receivers = n. 1, Required channels (on base-station): transmitting = n. 1, for each belt-pack transceiver used receiving = n. 1, WISYCOM Base-Unit in master/slave configuration In some cases the coverage of the standard base-station is not enough. Therefore Wisycom has developed, and tested for a long time, a special technology to overcome this problem. Wisycom offers the possibility to connect together several Base-Units (in master/slave configuration) to increase the coverage area almost unlimited. In fact the resulted total coverage area is the sum of the single area of each Base-Unit. In order to grant excellent working conditions immune from interferences, Wisycom supplies special add-on boards, to upgrade its transmitterand receiver-modules to allow the master/slave operations. So all transmitters can work in iso-frequency mode and all receivers work in remote diversity mode. The master and slave Base-Units can be installed far away one from the other and they need to be connected together by wire. Wisycom technology allows the utilisation of simple balanced audio lines or cheap telephone twisted-pairs (even pre-existing) instead of expensive dedicated coax or optical-fibres cables. Printed in Italy May 06 Thanks to Wisycom 25 years old experience in the field, the systems are designed with the aim of granting not only the actual maximum operating quality of the products, but also their maximum durability in time. This result is reached with carefully sophisticated technical solutions such as modularity and the inter-changeability of the various modules. The best solution for system-engineers are easily guaranteed by the combination of flexibility and modularity with the highest quality standards.
