Searching for treasures, new and rediscovered, for theatre "off the beaten path." Rover Dramawerks produces lost or forgotten works of well-known authors, revives excellent scripts that have suffered from lack of exposure, and discovers unknown gems of the stage.

Who's Who While a newcomer to Rover, Gary Anderson has spent the past 10 years enjoying his acting hobby at Dallas-area theatres. Favorite roles include Falstaff (The Merry Wives of Windsor), Scrooge (A Christmas Carol), Atticus Finch (To Kill a Mockingbird) and Lloyd Dallas (Noises Off). In real life, Gary spends his days as a graphic artist at a Dallas marketing agency. When not at work or onstage, he enjoys time with his family, rooting on the Cowboys and Mavericks, and spending time in the great outdoors. Thanks, as always, to my beautiful wife Karin and my kids Clayton, Lindsey and Sarah for all their love and support. Amanda Fae Elrod is thrilled to be taking part in Rover Dramawerks production of The Runner Stumbles. She was most recently seen (wearing lots of eye shadow) in One Day Only 11 here at Rover Dramawerks. Additional credits include Ramon in Cara Mia Theatre's production of Alicia en Wonder Tierra, and several roles in 365days/365plays at WaterTower Theatre. Amanda wishes to deeply thank her family for their love and support. A special thanks to the talented cast and crew, and to Jason and Carol Rice. Ron Eubanks makes his debut with Rover Dramawerks as the Secretary to the Bishop in The Runner Stumbles. Ron comes from a background of musicals, light opera, Austin and Centenary College choirs and narration. He will be Producer of the next Rover offering, Gilligan s Island: the Musical opening June 5. Jaymes Gregory, a native to Fort Worth, is well versed in various means of artistic expression. With this wide knowledge of the arts, Mr. Gregory finds himself at home in the theatre and uses his talents to their full potential. His work has been seen from Texas to New York. Recent works include Come Back to the Five and Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean at Circle Theatre, Blues for an Alabama Sky at Jubilee, The Lesson at The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, as well as directing an original piece, Gospel of the Junkyard, which he also designed and scored. Mr. Gregory holds an M.A. in theatre from Texas Woman s University. John Johnson has work in technical theatre for nearly half of his life. Initiating in 2001 in his middle school years, continuing into high school with three plays and two dance team recitals, and on to Rover Dramawerks. He also runs sound on the side for The Joe Languell Band. On top of working in technical theatre, he is a student at the Aviation Institute of Maintenance and works part time at Hirsch's Specialty Meats. John is thoroughly enthused about working for Rover, and hopes to be a part of more shows in the future. Terrie Justus has been involved with Rover, in one capacity, or another, since 2002. She has performed on stage in Lady Windermere's Fan, two productions of The War of the Worlds, at the Out of the Loop Festival at WaterTower Theatre, and Little Footsteps, with her daughter Joslyn. She served as producer for the regional premier of Morphic Resonance, and provided props for Claptrap, Spider's Web, Love from a Stranger, and Surviving Grace. Working behind the scenes on numerous One Day Only productions has been a great deal of fun. It has also been nice for her to drag her family into the process, with husband Bill designing and building sets, and daughter Joslyn, becoming a regular performer, AD/SM, and stagehand. Terrie is now in her third term as a member of the board of this growing concern.

Rover Dramawerks would be nothing without our loyal supporters. Thank you! Up Next For Rover Dramawerks Tina Kane is excited to be working with Rover. Originally from Washington state, Tina has lived all over the country and in Canada. Trained in the Meisner Technique in New York, she has acted off Broadway, voiced national commercials, has done film and commercial work and even worked post-production on Matrix: Revolutions. Having made her way to Dallas, she is currently studying Art at UNT. Tina would like to thank Steve Bryant, without whose love and support would never had had the courage to, once again, step into the spotlight. Dawn Wittke King is a designer/director who recently relocated from Iowa. This is her first full-length show with Rover Dramawerks, having made her Texas-theatre début earlier this month as a director for Rover s One Day Only 11. Dawn earned her BA in Theatre from Northwestern College. In Iowa she served a two-year term on the board of an independent theatre as technical coordinator. Her most recent directing project (prior to ODO) was Gross Indecency: The Three Trial of Oscar Wilde, by Moises Kauffman. Dawn has had three of her original one-acts produced on stage. She would like to thank Jason Rice and Rover Dramawerks for this rewarding experience. Heather McCormick is thrilled to be a part of this production and fantastic team at Rover Dramawerks. She is currently a Junior at University of North Texas studying theatre performance. Some of her favorite past roles include Mammy in Cripple of Inishmaan, Joyce in Ruffian on the Stair, and Shelby in Steel Magnolias. After graduation in 2009 Heather hopes to continue to follow her passion for performance, wherever that may lead. A special thanks goes out to her family for all the support and to Jason and the cast for such a rewarding experience. Julie Osborne is excited to be working with Rover Dramawerks for the first time. A few favorite roles include: Twelfth Night (Viola), The Tempest (Iris), All The Worlds A Stage (Juliet, Hermia, Puck), Shakespeare and the Written Word (Juliet), and Sonnets in the Spring (featured dancer) with Shakespeare Dallas, The Glory of Living (Angie) with Second Thought Theatre, Macbeth (Lady Macbeth), A Midsummer Nights Dream (Titania) with Stolen Shakespeare Guild, The Way They Shine (Girl Ram) with Project X, and Romeo and Juliet (Rosaline) with Classical Acting Company. Julie is a graduate of AMDA in NYC. Julie would like to thank her family for all their love and support. June 5-28, 2008 Right here at the Cox Building Playhouse! Get your tickets NOW! Gilligan s Island: the Musical replaces the previously announced Grotesque Lovesongs. Clint Ray recently moved to Plano from Beaumont where he received his BFA in Studio Arts from Lamar University. He has been involved in the theatre since 1978, mostly doing scenic painting. Most recently he designed the set for Rover s critically acclaimed An Infinite Ache. Recently, he has been working for GPO Productions in Dallas constructing and painting sets for local shows, such as Second Thought Productions The Country Wife, Risk Theatre Initiative s Mrs. Bob Cratchet's Wild Christmas Binge and Contemporary Theatre of Dallas The Last Night of Ballyhoo. Outside the theatre world, Clint is a muralist, with over two decades of work in homes and commercial venues, including the entire pediatric wing of Memorial Hermann Hospital in Beaumont. Check out his work at www.clintray.net or e-mail him at clintalanray@gmail.com. Jason Rice has been on the Rover board since it was founded and is the current Vice President of Production. Some of the plays he has directed include The Baltimore Waltz, Bags, Wrens, Krapp s Last Tape, Waiting for Godot, and The

Curate Shakespeare As You Like It. He has designed sound for such shows as Private Eyes, The Compleat Works of Wllm Shkspr (abridged), Night Must Fall, The Glass Menagerie and Light Up the Sky. He has received awards for acting and sound design, and he has written several custom murder mysteries and one-act plays. Jason has composed music for both live theatre and video, receiving the Aegis Award for his original composition for Matt Kaufman s film short Willoughby. As much fun as theater is, Jason s favorite role is DADDY to 6-year-old Stephen and 3½-year-old Scott. What s my motivation for Because I said so!? Celeste Rogers is an award winning costumer. She has provided all the costumes for nearly 40 productions during the last 15 plus years. Mesquite Community Theatre honored her with an award for "Best Designer" for The Creature Creeps and for Little Women. Her costumes for Pride and Prejudice received one of the Column-2001 awards for costumes; she was honored with a Column-2002 costume award for Little Women. She is very happy to be involved with this production of The Runner Stumbles. Celeste is currently preparing for a production of Mary Stuart next year. Over the years Celeste has also worked as actor and/or costumer in Cedar Hill, Dallas, DeSoto, Fort Worth, Frisco, Grapevine, Irving, and Mesquite. Monica Ruiz is a senior at Plano East Senior High School. She began doing technical work in the 6th grade, and never managed to stop. This is her first production with Rover Dramawerks, and she is very excited to be a part of this wonderful group. Shane Strawbridge is excited to be involved with his sixth Rover Dramawerks production, having worked on ODO 11, Two Rooms, Surviving Grace, Frame 312, and ODO 9. Aside from designing sound, Shane also works as an actor in the DFW area. Some of his favorite acting roles from previous productions include Hucklebee (The Fantasticks), Dr. Gregg (Gallantry), Major-General Stanley (Pirates of Penzance), Quintin Sustinian (An Extremely Normal Man), and Father Rivard (The Runner Stumbles). This is Michael Sturlin s first trip back treading the boards since Rover s production of Private Eyes last spring. He is very excited about not getting shot or dying onstage this time out. You might also have seen him in Rover s productions of The War of the Worlds, Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet), or Spider s Web. He would like to thank his wife for her undying support and putting up with his late entrances and early exits. Slaintė. A KD Studio alumni, Jarod Warren has built a career for film but his true love will always be the Stage. He was blessed to have worked several times before with Rover and is deeply honored to be a part of The Runner Stumbles and its amazing cast and crew. This performance is dedicated to his father. Corey Whaley is making his sophomore appearance at Rover Dramawerks, having played Graham in last year's Frame 312. Corey is a transplant from Oklahoma City, where he has worked with Carpenter Square Theatre, Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park, Pollard Theatre, Oklahoma City Theatre Company, Oklahoma Children's Theatre, and Jewel Box Theatre. He most recently appeared as Father in The Pillowman, the inaugural production of Oklahoma City's Ghostlight Theatre Club, of which he is a long-distance founding member. By day, Corey works as a programmer with Matrix Business Technologies.
