Sean Smith is making quite a name for himself as the Director of Development for the Marine Industries Association of South Florida. Here is what he shared about the Salty Jobs series: The goal of the Salty Jobs video series is to present the different types of jobs that are available in the marine industry, engaging a younger audience about the potential to secure life-long careers that allow for home ownership, the ability to raise a family, and the opportunity to save for retirement. The Marine Industries Association of South Florida is proud of the fact that the 136,000 marine-related jobs in our region typically pay 28% more than the State average, and has been working very hard to make the younger generations aware of the career opportunities that exist in our industry.
