Warrington-based CurveBeam LLC was formed in 2009 with the goal of providing cutting edge Cone Beam CT capabilities at a fraction of the price of traditional CT equipment. A Pennsylvania Success As part of their international product launch, Ms. Vinti Singh, CurveBeam s Communications Coordinator, attended MEDICA for the first time in 2012. Held annually in Dusseldorf, Germany, MEDICA is one of the world s largest trade shows for medical equipment and devices. At MEDICA 2012, Ms. Singh walked the show, presenting CurveBeam s technology to a number of orthopedic and podiatric specialists at the fair, and with the help of the ATR in Germany, met with several potential German distributors. As a result, CurveBeam found their German partner, PTM Network Services. The two companies signed a contract shortly afterward. This contact [with PTM Network Services] has turned into a great partnership, as they have exhibited the pedcat at major regional conferences including DKOU conference in Berlin, said Ms. Singh. PTM has also executed an aggressive marketing campaign, demonstrating their commitment to the success of our product launch in Europe.
