LODGING & RESTAURANTS HOTELS/MOTELS There are many hotels and motels in the area, fitting all budgets. Along U.S. Hwy 90, there are fabulous casinos and accompanying hotels. There are also a number of franchise motels such as Best Western, Holiday Inn, etc. (about 20 minutes from the club). For the truly budget minded, it is recommended that you Google: Motels on U.S. Hwy 49, near intersection with I-10. There are 10 or 12 motels competing for customers in this area (about 25 minutes from the club). For those who would like to be close to the club, we have arranged for a trap shooters rate at the COURTYARD MARRIOTT, 11471 Cinema Dr., D Iberville, MS 39540. Tel: 228-392-1200. The rate is $92 plus tax for any or all nights. This is a new hotel and is located in a huge new shopping center. It is less than five (5) minutes from the club. FOOD & RESTAURANTS During the shoot, full course breakfast and lunch will be provided free of charge to all shooters (courtesy of National Aviation Academy). For dinner, you will find fresh seafood wherever you look. There are also two great steak houses in two of the casinos (Hard Rock and Beau Ravage). If you are interested, please call these casinos and make restaurant reservations as they fill up quickly. Regarding seafood, each local trap shooter has his/her favorite. Just ask and you will be inundated with options! No reservations are required at these informal restaurants. 24
