Able to cut 4 x 8 sheets up to ½ thick, our laser cutter can cut complex shapes with exacting precision. Faster than traditional machining, and more accurate than water-jet cutting, Kent s laser can cut : - Aluminum - Mild Steel - Stainless - Plastics - Wood The laser employs a digital controller that requires the part first be drawn as a.dxf file using software like AutoCad or MasterCam. We then take those files and layer-on information such as the cutting speed and tool path. Once that.dxf file is created, parts can be reproduced in any quantity. And because these digital files don t change, you can be sure that re-orders will be identical.
