The stndrd rnge is IP 52 (IP 54 s n option). This trunking hs ompt design nmely with plted ondutors inside metl enlosure. The isolted ondutor rs re mde of opper. The rnge is divided into 8 rtings from 1000 to 5000 A. The insultion used on the ondutors is hlogen-free 130 C lss B polyester. The live ondutors re mde up of 1 or 2 rs per phse with prlleling ensured t eh juntion. The trunking hs 4 ondutors for the 3-pole + neutrl version (ross-setion of the neutrl equl to the ross-setion of the phses). The metl enlosure in prelquered glvnised sheet steel (RAL 7032) provides protetion nd mehnil resistne for the ondutors long their entire length. Moreover the metl enlosure is used s protetive ondutor (onforming to F C15-100) with ontinuity ensured t eh juntion long the length of the instlltion. As n option Cnlis KTC n e fitted with n dditionl opper protetive ondutor (ross-setion equl to hlf the ross-setion of the phse). With its ompt design (no free spe within the trunking) Cnlis KTC n e mounted horizontlly edgewise or vertilly without derting the rted urrent Ith. Moreover this design does not require the mounting of fire rrier joint to pss through floors nd wlls. Cnlis KTC is designed to e fire-resistnt for up to 2 hours. The ontts re lwys mde etween silver-plted opper (for joints of juntions or tp-off unit pins) nd re opper (for ondutors). Joints Eh run omponent (stright length elow tee et) inludes its own joint kit (delivered under seprte over). The joint kit omprises ll the prts required to provide mehnil nd eletril joint etween two omponents. The eletril joint is ensured y single olt joint lok (1 to 2 olts per usr). This ensures ontinuity for ll ondutors nd prlleling of oth rs in the sme phse. The olt is mde up of srew nd ontrtion nut the externl hed of whih reks when the tightening torque is rehed. This devie ensures the required ontt pressure is pplied y the joint lok to the live ondutors. When the hed of the nut reks red wsher is relesed showing tht the eletril joint hs een instlled orretly.
