Maier ML20D - Technical Details for illustration purposes only Maier CNC Swiss Type Lathe ML20D ProLine Machine concept & construction The machine base of all the Maier ProLine CNC Sliding Headstock Machines are produced from Polymer Concrete. The Polymer Concrete is cast at only 50 centigrade and is fully hardened within 24 hours, requiring no age hardening process. Polymer concrete is renowned for its extreme resistance to distortion and vibration. The heavy machine base of approx. 2 tons absorbs and eliminates any remaining vibration. All Maier machines are made in Baden-Württemberg, Germany

Maier CNC Swiss Type Lathe ML20D ProLine Equipment included as standard: Machine equipped with 9 axes. Spindle bore Ø24mm. Maximum bar capacity Ø20mm. Main Spindle with 5.5/3.7 KW (60%/100%) power. Main and Sub Spindle with Full 'C' Axis. Main and Sub Spindle mechanically lockable at 5 increments. Sub Spindle with 3.7/1.1 KW (60%/100%) power. Up to 18 standard tooling positions. (Can be increased by options.) With 8 driven tool stations. - 4 off radial, 4 off axial for working at the main spindle. (Can be increased by options.) 32 M/min. Rapid traverse rate in all axes.
