INSTRUCTION MANUAL PS4 SPS-X2 VER 4.0 Congratulations, welcome to the GamerModz Family! You are now a proud owner of a GamerModz Custom Modded Controller. The SPS-X2 - VER 4.0 FOR PS4 has been completely redesigned from the ground up to maximize your gameplay experience. It includes a much faster processor allowing you turn mods on and off much quicker than previous releases. Additionally, we have added many new mods as well as an on/off feature that allows you to use the controller as standard controller without the possibility of accidently turning a mod on. Your new GamerModz SPS-X2 Controller includes the following mods (Note you must be in the SPS-X2 Mode to enable these mods. See Page 2): Adjustable Rapid Fire (5 Programmable Modes)... Page 2 Left Trigger Rapid Fire... Page 5 Dual Trigger Rapid Fire (Akimbo)... Page 5 Remappable Pro Buttons (Optional Add On)... Page 6 IMPORTANT: Verify that your GamerModz SPS-X2 Controller is Version 4 by following the instructions below. Top level modes All GamerModz Controllers have been redesigned to have a top level on/off feature. Your SPS-X2 controller is designed with the following top level modes: Mode 1: SPS-X2 Mod Mode 2: Off (All Mods Disabled) IMPORTANT: When you first power on your controller, you will begin in Mode 2. To change modes, hold down the Left Thumbstick and tap the Right on the D-Pad the number of times corresponding to the mode you would like release the Left Thumbstick. The LED will flash the number of times corresponding to the mode selected. tap Rapid Fire modes Your GamerModz Controller comes with 20 Rapid Fire Modes. Modes 1 thru 5 are custom programmable modes that are user re-programmable for quick access. Modes 6 thru 20 are preset modes ranging from 6 shots per second to 20 shots per second. Turn On/off Rapid fire quickly To enable/disable Rapid Fire, Down the Right Trigger, Tap Down on D-Pad the Right Trigger. Note: If you turn Rapid Fire on this way, the SPS-X2 Controller will default to the last Rapid Fire Mode enabled. tap GamerModz PS4 SPS-X2 Ver 4.0 2
Adjustable rapid Fire modes To program a Rapid Fire, you must first have rapid fire enabled (Reference Toggle Between Rapid Fire Modes on Page 2). Once rapid fire is enabled, follow the instructions below to program your shots per second. Your GamerModz SPS-X2 Controller will remember the settings even after you turn your controller off. Programming adjustable Rapid fire modes Once you are in the Mode you wish to Program, Down the Right Trigger Up on D-Pad until the LED begins to flash. both the Right Trigger and Up on D-Pad. Until LED Begins to Flash Once in Programming Mode you can adjust your shots per second by Tapping Up on D-Pad to Increase Shots per Second and by Tapping Down on the D-Pad to Decrease Shots per Second. Note: Each time you Tap the D-Pad, your Rate of Fire will Increase or Decrease 1 Shot per Second. To test the Rapid Fire Rate, fire your weapon by pulling the Right Trigger. Adjust your Rapid Fire Rate by Tapping Up or Down on the D-Pad until the desired smoothness and rate of fire is achieved. Please see graph on Page 4 for Reference. Once you have the desired Rapid Fire Setting, Tap Right on D-Pad to lock in the rate of fire. The PS4 LED will flash the number times corresponding to your rate of fire. Optimizing Adjustable rapid Fire The below graph is a visual representation on how Adjustable Rapid Fire works for your GamerModz SPS-X2 Controller. This will help you manually adjust your Rapid Fire to the optimal rate of fire by understanding how GamerModz Rapid Fire works. Weapon optimal rate GOAL - Rapid Fire Rate + Faster than Max Fire Rate Weapon is Stuttering or Not Firing at All MAX Weapon Fire Rate Weapon is Firing too Slowly Slower than MAX Fire Rate Notes: - It is possible for the Rapid Fire to be so fast that it does not register in the game. If this occurs, try slowing it down at times. - Slowing automatic weapons down to reduce recoil and increase accuracy can be effective too. GamerModz PS4 SPS-X2 Ver 4.0 4
Left Trigger Rapid fire mod Left Trigger Rapid Fire allows you to assign rapid fire to your left trigger only. Note: You must first have Rapid Fire turned on (See Page 2) to enable Left Trigger Mod. To enable/disable Left Trigger Rapid Fire, Down the Left Trigger and Tap Down on the D-Pad. Then Left trigger. The PS4 Controller LED will flash one time to indicate that the Left Trigger Rapid Fire Mode has been toggled on/off. Tap dual Trigger Rapid fire mod (akimbo) Dual Trigger Rapid Fire (Akimbo) allows you to assign rapid fire to both the Left Trigger and Right Trigger, giving you a greater advantage when dual wielding. Note: You must first have rapid fire turned on (See Page 2). To enable/disable Dual Trigger Rapid Fire (Akimbo), Down the Left Trigger and Right Trigger and Tap Down on the D-Pad. Then Both Triggers. INSTRUCTION MANUAL LED PRO BUTTONS FOR PS4 (OPTIONAL ACCESSORY) The GamerModz LED Pro Buttons allows you to remap the following buttons to either of the Pro Buttons: A, B, X, Y, LB, RB, LT, RT, L3, R3, D-Pad Up, D-Pad Down, D-pad Left, D-Pad Right NOTE: Guide Button, Menu Button and View Button Cannot be Remapped Additionally, you we have given you the ability to have 5 Modes (Profiles) allowing you program 5 different scenarios. The controller will save the profiles for you, even when you turn the controller off. You can change any of the profiles at any time using the instruction below. Cycling Through PRESETS To cycle through the Presets hold the Left Thumbstick and Tap Left on the D-Pad the number of times corresponding to the mode/preset you want. The Main LED will flash the number of times corresponding to the mode/preset chosen. Additionally, if presets 1-5 are chosen, the LED Pro Mods will Light Up. Disabling Pro Buttons To disable the Pro Buttons, Left Thumbstick and Tap Left on the D-Pad 6 Times. The PS4 Controller LED will flash one time to indicate that the Pro Buttons have been off. TAP, 6 Times Programming a Preset for Button Remapping To program a Pre-Set, first cycle to the Preset you wish to program (Refer to Instructions Above). Once you are in the Preset you want to Program, hold the Left Thumbstick and Left on D-Pad until the Main LED begins to flash indicating you are in programming mode. Once you are in programming mode, simply hold the button you want to remap, tap the Pro Button you would like to remap it to release. The Main LED will flash once letting you know that the remap was successful. Repeat this step to assign another button to the other Pro Button. Once you have finished assigning remaps to the Pro Buttons, hold the Left Thumbstick and Left on D-Pad to save the Preset. The Main LED will flash 5 times, letting you know that you have successfully saved the Preset. You can then repeat the above steps to Program all of your presets. Note that your presets will be saved even after you turn your controller off. ****** Important! Frequently asked questions Q: My Controller is acting crazy! How do I get it to stop? If you notice your controller is inputting all kinds of commands that you do not want, you may want to deactivate the unnecessary mods that may be active. If you are unsure what mods are active, simply perform the Master Reset below. Q: I ve See GamerModz Controllers shoot really, really fast! But my Rapid Fire is really slow. What s the deal? If your weapon is firing too slowly, it that either your weapon is not compatible with rapid fire (e.g. Rocket Launcher) or it could mean that you do not have the Rapid Fire Shots per Second set high enough. Q. My Rapid Fire is jumping or stuttering, how do I get it to stop? If your rapid fire is not shooting consistently and seems to be stuttering, you have set the Shots per Second too high. This means the controller is trying to fire your weapon at a speed that is not compatible with the particular game and weapon. Try decreasing your shots per second. Q.
