Postal Cabinet X-ray systems The Scanmax family of cabinet X-ray systems guarantees you the high definition X-ray images that you need for the accurate and confident screening of mail for potential hazards and threats. Postal screening is the first line of defence against postal hazards and Scanmax helps deliver security and peace of mind for you and your business. Scanmax X-ray screeners represent a World Leading investment in the safety and security of mailroom staff and are trusted to deliver top class X-ray imaging in a safe and robust cabinet. Scanmax systems are designed for ease of use by non-technical staff. Their slim-line design, which includes desk mounted variants means that the use of expensive office and mailroom space is kept to an absolute minimum. There are three models in the product range. The compact Scanmax 15 can be situated on or under a desktop or used in conjunction with an optional wheeled trolley. The Scanmax 25 is floor standing and is ideal for screening larger parcels and briefcases whilst having a similar footprint to a small filing cabinet. The Scanmax 225 is our premium model incorporating an advanced X-ray imaging capability as well as our World-class Scanview X-ray image enhancement software. This allows detailed image investigation as well as having image export, print, email and network capabilities. Scanmax X-ray units produce clear, definition rich, X-ray images of mail, courier and baggage items to allow operators to quickly and easily distinguish between legitimate and malicious or prohibited items. Features and Benefits Rapid Screening Mail and courier items are simply placed into the X-ray inspection chamber and a single button action produces an almost instant clear image of the contents. Compact and Easy to use Scanmax X-ray machines are specifically designed for use by non-technical staff. Their compact design and small footprint means they can be used in even the smallest mailrooms. High Definition Imaging To ensure operators can identify powders and IED component parts, Scanmax auto enhances X-ray images for optimum clarity. Additional standard enhancement features include multi-zoom, colour options for highlighting medium and high density materials and inverse, negative feature for highlighting fine wires. Advanced Features Scanmax 225 incorporates our proprietary Scanview image enhancement software that provides a much broader range of features including colour maps for the improved detection of difficult to see threats such as white powders and incendiary devices. Images can be stored directly onto the X-ray machine hard drive or exported as a Windows format file to USB stick, or to a shared network folder. Images can also be printed or emailed externally which allows security decisions to be made without additional personnel having to enter an area of potential danger. The ability to export threat images is invaluable for notifying police to ensure that your threat is correctly escalated. Safe and Secure Scanmax X-ray units use very low level X-rays and conform to International Electrical Safety and Radiation Standards. For your peace of mind and re-assurance, Radiation Safety and Test reports are provided with every system. DRA_0316 6pp_P5.indd 4 25/02/2014 21:42
