September 2014 Meeting Minutes The meeting was opened by President Tracy E. No guests were present. A motion was made by Terry C and seconded by Monica M to accept the July minutes which were not in the newsletter. The minutes for August were accepted. A motion was then made by Christine S and seconded by Thomasene E. The Treasurer s report for August was also accepted. A motion was made by Christine Sand seconded by Thomasene E. The application for tax status has been sent in and cashed. We assume that it is being processed. The Opportunity Quilt was shown to the group. It was quilted by Christine S and Leona W. They quilted it with footballs and helmets and also had enough of the squares to make two pillow shams. Linda F brought in a sign up sheet for Mountaineer Week quilt show, October 24 to 26. Terry C wanted to remind everyone to register for the Ricky Timms show before April 2015. Meeting adjourned. Show and tell and the September program followed.
