Our core competence lies mainly in the development and manufacture of cage and enclosure systems and our entire metal fabrication process at our site in Castrop-Rauxel equipped with state-of-the-art machinery - is subject to stringent quality standards. Another major aspect is our competent team of experts with decades of experience in metal work. This clearly demonstrates how excellent quality comes into being made in Germany. We plan and manufacture animal enclosure systems in accordance with legal requirements to meet our customers high expectations in medical and pharmaceutical research. Likewise, we make sure that they are compatible with ventilation systems in order to create cleanroom safety conditions to allow laboratory animals to be kept at microbiological conditions. Whether you need stables for cloven-hoofed animals or cages for small rodents: When we develop and manufacture cage and enclosure systems, we also lay emphasis on the protection of the test animal. Here our in-depth knowledge of keeping test animals in a research environment is one of our strong points. The type, size and features of cages and enclosures largely depends on which species is going to live in them. We plan, design and manufacture our products tailored to the specific application and in line with the respective legal requirements pursuant to the EU directive 2010/63/EU of the European Parliament (formerly ETS 123). ENCLOSURES ARE INDIVIDUAL METAL STRUCTURES. WE HAVE THE NECESSARY EXPERTISE. All stainless steel cage and enclosure systems are manufactured at our premises. We are proud of our know-how in metal engineering. Framework profiles, sheets and spot-welded wire meshes made of non-corrosive stainless steel are the basic material used for our cages and enclosure systems. Over the decades, everything in this field has been honed to perfection going beyond the mere manufacture. Our accomplishments can also be seen in groundbreaking tailor-made solutions with attention to detail. Our main focus lies on user-friendliness and animal welfare. Due to their proven high quality and excellent workmanship ZOONLAB products are well suited for the demanding everyday routine in the lab. If you sign our maintenance and service agreement, any signs of wear can be kept at a minimum. Our field engineers regularly inspect cages, enclosures and ventilation systems and repair them, as necessary, to make sure they function properly. Worn items will be replaced. In addition to transport equipment and various accessories, our portfolio also includes washing, cleaning and decontaminating facilities. With the use of sophisticated technology animal cages can be prepared and conditioned cost-effectively and efficiently to ensure aseptic working conditions in line with the relevant guidelines. 18
