STEP 1. STEP 2. Unpack the carton. Carefully unpack the track assemblies, shades, center hub, and hardware bag and remove all packaging material. NOTE: Remove shipping nuts and bolts from track and dispose. Locate the top center of the arch. Place left hand track assembly in window, touching the sill and the window frame. Scribe a pencil line on the window frame at the top of the track. Place right hand track assembly in window, touching the sill and the window frame. Scribe a pencil line on the window frame at the top of the track. Measure the distance between the scribed lines. Half way between the scribe lines is the center of the arch, scribe another line at that location. Scribe line, left track. Scribe line, right track. Scribe line at center. STEP 3. Install left hand track assembly. Position left hand track assembly in window frame. Cord loop will be located at lower left, positioned towards the room interior. Position left hand track assembly to the top of the arch. The upper edge of the track assembly should touch the centerline scribed earlier. Position left hand track assembly into the window frame to a location where the track is approximately ¼ inside the window frame (units with motorization may need to mount flush). The arm where the cord comes out should be close to, but not touching the sill or trim mouldings. With your pencil, carefully mark the exact center of the mounting holes. Remove left hand track assembly. Using the 3/32 drill bit, drill pilot holes for all mounting screws. Reposition left hand track assembly and screw into position using mounting screws provided in hardware bag. Start at the top of the arch and work down, securing each screw tight as you go. Position left track. Mark hole centers. Drill pilot holes. Screw track to frame. Page 3 of 7

STEP 3A. MOTORIZATION UNITS ONLY: Install shade stop. Remove the screw at the top of the arch. Slide shade stop between window jamb and track. Position shade stop so it is centered on track with the flange tight to the track. Replace screw at the top of the arch. Shade stop. Slide shade stop under track. Replace screw. Slide stop shown in position. STEP 4. Install right hand track assembly. Position right hand track assembly in window frame. Position right hand track assembly to the top of the arch touching the left hand track assembly. Position right hand track assembly in the same location in the window frame as the left hand track assembly. Tracks must line up and touch at top of arch. With your pencil, carefully mark the exact center of the mounting holes. Remove right hand track assembly. Using the 3/32 drill bit, drill pilot holes for all mounting screws. Reposition right hand track assembly and screw into position using mounting screws provided in hardware bag. Mark hole centers. Drill pilot holes. Screw track to frame. Page 4 of 7

STEP 5. Mount center hub. Measure the diameter of the window, at the sill, and determine the exact center of the sill. Half of the diameter will be the center. Scribe a line at the exact center. To verify you have the exact center measure from the scribed line to the left side of the sill. Make note of this measurement. Now measure from the scribed line to the right side of the sill. This measurement should be the same as the left side measurement. If they are not exact, reposition the scribe line until the two measurements are equal. Measure from the edge of the sill to the track. Add 1 ¼ to this dimension to get to the final depth. At the scribed line locating the center of the sill, scribe a second line perpendicular to the centerline using the final depth dimension that was determined earlier. Center the hub keeper plate exactly over the scribed lines. With your pencil, carefully mark the exact center of the mounting holes. Using the 3/32 drill bit, drill pilot holes for mounting screws. Reposition hub keeper plate and screw into position using mounting screws provided in hardware bag. Position the center hub on the hub keeper plate. Measure window diameter. Scribe exact center. Measure edge to track. Add 1 1/4 and scribe line. Center keeper plate. Drill pilot holes. Screw keeper plate to sill. STEP 6. Mount cellular shades (for fabric shades go to STEP 7). Locate left hand shade. The colored fabric should be facing toward the room and the neutral fabric facing outside. The attachment spring, protruding from upper shade rail, will be positioned on the left side of the shade towards the window. Note there is not a rail cap on the spring end of the rail. Position shade on sill. Right side of shade will be positioned inside the center hub. Left side of shade will be positioned inside of track. Squeeze the spring to retract the finger, located near the window, into the shade rail. Carefully position the shade so the finger nearest you is lined up with the mounting hole found in the shade carrier. Rotate the shade rail slightly until the finger towards the window is lined up. Release the spring clip allowing the finger to engage the shade carrier. Check to insure both fingers are fully engaged in the shade carrier. Page 5 of 7

STEP 6. Mount cellular shades. (Continued) Recheck the position of the shade in the center hub. The shade should be located left of the center hub spring pin. Carefully pull the left hand cord. The left hand shade should freely rise. Repeat this procedure for the right hand shade. Fully open and close both shades to insure proper operation. Locate left hand shade. Shade carrier. Position shade on sill. Squeeze spring. Engage fingers in shade carrier. Try shade to insure fingers are properly engaged in shade carrier. STEP 7. Mount fabric shades (for cellular shades go to STEP 6). Position the right side car to the top of the arch by pulling the beaded cord loop. Locate right side shade. To help control the shade, leave the bands in place. Position the shade so that the plastic connectors are pointed upward and the show side fabric is facing toward you. Locate the insertion point at the end of the center track groove near the top of the right hand arch. Locate the connector furthest to the right. This will be the first connector inserted into the track. Insert the connector into the track and push it in the track to the right a few inches. Insert all but the last connector into the track. Insert the last connector (furthest to the left) into the plastic receiver mounted on the car. Using the pull cord, slowly lower the shade, center band still in place, until it rests on the sill. Take care to guide the shade into the hub and direct it until it is fully down resting on the sill. Remove the band and straighten any pleats that may be out of place. Slowly run the shade up to the closed position and return it to the opened position. The pleats should stack nicely. Repeat the procedure on the left hand shade. Fully open and close both shades. Magnets in the bottom of the shades will cause them to snap together. Page 6 of 7

STEP 7. Mount fabric shades. (Continued) The fabric shades, much like fabric vertical drapery, will hang in a flowing manner pleasing to the eye. The shades may not have the very repeatable pattern typical of cellular shades. Bring car to top of arch. Identify right side shade. Locate insertion point. Insert connectors into track. Leave bands on. Insert all but last connector. Insert last connector into After carefully lowering After left side shade is plastic receiver. shade and straighting installed close both shades. pleats, raise and lower Magnets should snap the shade. bottom of the shades together. STEP 8. Mount cord loop tension brackets. Locate a suitable location to attach each cord loop tension bracket. Insure cords are not twisted. Attach cord loop tension brackets with screws provided in hardware bag. NOTE: Failure to install cord loop tension brackets on each cord loop could result in a potentially unsafe condition and cause personal injury. Locate tension bracket. Mark hole centers. Drill pilot holes. Screw in place. STEP 9. Demonstrate operation to customer. Demonstrate proper operation of the window treatment to the customer, including removal of shade for window washing, etc. Present User Manual to the customer and discuss its use. Also discuss what to do if the cords get stuck, and stress that the cord should NEVER be yanked on. Demonstrate proper operation to customer. Page 7 of 7
