Exmpe 1: The Hwk 3 is purchsed s stndrd 200 vot meter. The nog output is configured by defut, HI=100.0 nd LO=0. When the dispy reches 100 vots, the nog output wi be 20mA. When the dispy reches 0 vots the nog output wi be 4mA. In order to chnge the nog output to 20mA t 200 vots chnge the HI to 200.0 Exmpe 2: The Hwk 3 is purchsed s process meter 4-20 ma input which dispys 0-100 percent. The nog output is configured, by defut, for HI=100.0 nd LO=0. When the dispy reches 100 percent the nog output wi be 20 ma. (Becuse the meter is process meter, the input shoud be 20mA.) When the dispy reches 0 percent the nog output wi be 4mA. The imits cn be moved or reversed (HI=0 nd LO= 80.0). The decim point wi then be in the proper position for setting setpoints or ineriztion. Mgnifying the dispy from 10 to 100 is s simpe s moving the decim point. LIN - Lineriztion ffects the setpoints nd nog-out resuts. If decim point oction is chnged, it wi dispy in the wrong pce for eectric input, but in the desired oction for output dispy. SP 1 4 - The setpoints foow the dispyed resuts of ny ineriztion or decim point settings nd not necessriy the eectric input. A OUT - The nog-out Hi nd Lo settings so trck the dispy resuts from the bove chnges nd not the eectric input. 6.2 Gener Progrmming Guideines Chnges cn be mde whie progrmming, uness the outputs or rey rms re critic to opertion. 1.
