Neiland s Choice Selecting these works has been a pleasure and a privilege for me. GX Gallery is delighted to be showcasing Neiland s Choice, an exhibition of works specially selected and exclusively curated by one of our foremost contemporary British painters and printmakers, Brendan Neiland. I ve chosen artists who have had some kind of impact on me personally. There are no intended philosophies or visual connections. The connection comes through me having known these artists at different times of my life. From the Royal College of Art, through various galleries, print workshops and art schools, it has been an honour to know them and share experiences with them. The result is a disparate collection of works by artists who, in all probability, would never otherwise exhibit together. But they all have qualities I would promote to young artists: Determination, conviction and comradery. They are truly dedicated artists. The work is presented to be looked at and enjoyed.
