RASCH / SAFIX Release 2008 Automatic Search System of Fastenings RECHNERUNTERSTÜTZTES AUSWAHLSYSTEM FÜR SCHNELLEFESTIGER SYSTÈME AUTOMATIQUE DE RECHERCHE DE FIXATIONS Numbering at RASCH / SAFIX Structure of families with additional functions Summary of the forms RASCH/SAFIX Copyright A Raymond

INTRODUCTION RASCH / SAFIX (Automatic Search System of Fastenings) is first of all a catalogue of A.RAYMOND fastening solutions. As a computing support, it can be used in many languages. ased on the most up to date computing techniques, it complements the paper catalogue and can be used on both portable and office PC systemes in wide spread use. The catalogue offers many types of search, enabling you to find, amongst 10000 A.RAYMOND fasteners, the most suitable solutions. The five types of search and the three associated complimentary searches lead you to the product file, presenting everyone of the selected fastenings under the design shape associated to the many supplied informations (references and indexes, available materials and finishes, mounting tools, client references or names, constituant parts for mountings...) - The first type of search is based on a classification of fasteners functional family (clips, pipe clips, panels fasteners, hose couplings... 12 in total).the selection of the characteristics is made the choice of designs in a family tree of five levels, each one corresponding to a type of characteristic ( Families, number of tubes, types of fastener support...). - The second method is based on the elementary functions of the parts ( bolt fastenings, in a hole, on a plane surface...) which are their main functional families. - The third method enables you to search for parts beginning with an A.RAYMOND reference, a client reference or a client name. - The fourth method is programmed to search a component constituting the assembly or for non mounted assembly parts but which must be used together. - Finely, the fifth method is suited to the more knowledgeable. It offers the possibility to combine many methods of search and enables the use of "joker" characters at the time of the definition of certain characteristics. Three complimentary search methods are available, once the main search has started.these methods enable you to refine the product characteristics looked for, from complimentary functions to main functions (resistant to water run-off, vibration absorbing, connectable onto a connector...), the material characteristics, protections-colours and the dimensional criteria. The software has other functional annexes like printing, no matter which screen, listes of solutions or product files, on line help and product information, or posting of all the coordinates of the companies within the group. The software operates on a network and is able to be shared all of the posts connected. A.RAYMOND presents, with this software, an innovative search method in the industrial and computing areas.
