1.0 INTRODUCTION INSTRUCTIONS FOR CONTINUED AIRWORTHINESS 1.1 Description This manual presents the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) for the installation of LORD Tension-Torsion Strap Assembly P/N LORD206-310-004101 and P/N LORD206-310-004103 to be installed on Bell 206 Series Model Aircraft. To determine aircraft model effectivity, refer to the list of approved models for each part number provided on page EFFECTIVITY-1 of this manual. 1.2 Scope This document is limited to information, procedures, requirements and limitations for LORD P/N LORD206-310-004101 and P/NLORD206-310-004103. This ICA satisfies the requirements of 14 CFR 21.50(a) and (b), and 14 CFR 27.1529 as provided in 14 CFR 27 Appendix A checklist. 1.3 Applicability This document applies to aircraft altered by the installation of either LORD Tension- Torsion Strap P/N LORD206-310-004101 or P/N LORD206-310-004103. 1.4 Control, Operation Information No operator action is required for the LORD Tension Torsion Strap Assembly. 1.5 Definitions and Abbreviations ICA Instructions for Continued Airworthiness PMA Parts Manufacturer Approval AEG Aircraft Evaluation Group LRU Line Replaceable Unit IPC Illustrated Parts Catalog AMM Aircraft Maintenance Manual 1.6 Document Change Control This ICA will be available with new production LORD Tension-Torsion Strap Assembly LORD206-310-004101 and LORD206-310-004103 upon request. There are no additional airworthiness limitations as a result of LORD Tension Torsion Strap Assemblies LORD P/N LORD206-310-004101 and P/N LORD206-310-004103. 3.0 SERVICING INFORMATION The existing ICA(s) are not affected appreciably, are applicable and should be utilized for maintaining LORD P/N LORD206-310-004101 and P/N LORD206-310- 004103. Maintenance of LORD P/N LORD206-310-004101 and P/N LORD206-310- 004103 will be in accordance with existing OEM manuals listed below, all subsequent revisions of these manuals, and service bulletins applicable to the LORD TT strap(s).
