Roland Jaggi has started his airline carrier in 1994 at Swissair. He has a wide experience of sales and marketing, including responsibilities in the home market of Switzerland s Nationalcarrier as well as a total of 5 years abroad. In 2003 he was transferred to headoffice to take over a leading role in Revenue Management and Pricing during the implementation phase of the new European Business Concept of Swiss. After leading a Revenue Management and Pricing team for 3 years in Zurich, he has moved in 2006 to Athens, to take over the Revenue Management and Pricing department of Aegean Airlines in Greece. In this current position he has lead the Revenue Management team of the young and dynamic Greek carrier from a manually controlled Revenue Management environment to a Revenue Management System controlled environment, while managing at the same fast growing revenues due to the carriers network expansion. Xavier Van Staen Director Airline IT Portfolio Management, Amadeus As Director Airline IT Portfolio Management, Xavier is responsible for defining and extending the Amadeus Airline IT product offering and developing the product roadmap. In this capacity he has been instrumental in expanding the Amadeus portfolio in the areas of Revenue Management and Revenue Accounting. He also has responsibility for managing the governance of all Amadeus IT Customer community forums, working groups and advisory bodies. Xavier joined Amadeus in 1992 as a functional analyst, and has since held a number of high profile roles within the company. He was appointed as Director Product Management and became a member of the Amadeus Top Management Forum in 2001. He was born, and has lived in the South of France for most of his life, and holds a Masters in IT from Nice University. He spends any spare time he has, sailing, running and tending to his garden. Mr. Joachim Sasse presently serves as the Director for Project Management Integrated Commercial Platform at Lufthansa Systems. In his present position at Lufthansa Systems, Mr. Sasse is responsible for the development of the Integrated Commercial Platform (ICP) which covers all of an airline s network and revenue management processes. Mr. Sasse s prior career experience includes various project- and team management positions where he was responsible for development, testing and customer management of products in the areas of Airline Pricing, Schedule Management and Data Warehousing. His higher education includes an MBA from the European School of Management and Technology, Berlin in July 2009 and a Master of Science / Computer Science (MSCS) from the University of Applied sciences of Emden, Germany in July 1995. Stefan Beleliev Head of Product Management, Commercial Solutions, Lufthansa Systems Stefan Beleliev presently serves as Head of Product Management, Commercial for Lufthansa Systems. In this role, he is responsible for product management of all AMS commercial solutions covering airline processes in network planning, scheduling, alliances, revenue management, pricing, marketing and sales. Mr. Beleliev joined Lufthansa Systems in 2007 as a Product Consultant for ProfitLine/Yield solutions. He held that position for two years before advancing to his current responsibility as Head of Product Management, Commercial Solution. Previous positions included Manager Alliance Sales and Manager Network Coordination Alliances, both at Lufthansa Passage. Mr. Beleliev s higher education includes a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina and a Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences in Wernigerode. Marc Rosenberg Former Vice President Sales and Product Distribution, Air Canada Marc Rosenberg retired as Air Canada s Vice President Sales and Product Distribution in the fall of 2008 having completed 37 years of full time service over a 40 year period.
Previously, Marc was President and Chief Executive Officer of Galileo Canada, and Air Canada Vacations. Marc also served as Chairman of the Board Galileo Canada, Air Canada Vacations and Touram France and represented Air Canada as a Director on the board of Apollo Travel Services, Galileo International, and Galileo Japan. Marc was responsible for leading the Air Canada team that continues to make significant changes to the electronic distribution model, widely recognized within the travel industry as leading edge. He has also served on the Board of the Airline Reporting Committee, and was Chair of various marketing boards for the Canadian Tourism Commission. In his sales portfolio as VP Sales & Product Distribution, Marc created and managed Air Canada s integrated Passenger Sales functions an organization still in place today. He continues to participate in numerous industry venues often as a guest speaker or panelist on topics including airline distribution, passenger sales, as well as travel agency matters. As President, Marsalyn Creative Inc. a Toronto, Canada based consulting practice Marc works with airlines, and several travel related companies on a variety of files including distribution strategy, channel management sales, and strategic business plans. He has also taken on the role of mentoring executives and key managers. Dieter Westermann Senior Vice President Revenue Management Qatar Airways Dieter Westermann is an employee of Qatar Airways and holds the position of Senior Vice President Revenue Management. In that role he is responsible for the Pricing and Revenue Management Department at this fast growing airline. Under his leadership Qatar Airways implemented a state-of-the-art O&D Revenue Management System and adapted the organization in order to focus on network traffic flows and point-of-sale.
From July 2004 until October 2007 he has been working for Lufthansa Systems and held the position of Director Portfolio Management & Innovations. Dieter has extensive experience in revenue management business processes and systems as well as in the area of pricing, reservations and distribution. During his 19 years in the airline business he has worked for carriers such as Lufthansa and Swissair. During his assignment at Swiss International Air Lines as Vice President Business Solutions, he was responsible for the systems and business processes supporting Revenue Management, Pricing, Reservations & Inventory and CRS Distribution. Jerry Foran Senior Manager, Product Delivery, Revenue Management, British Airways Jerry has worked for BA for more than 30 years and runs BA s Product Delivery unit which is responsible for the distribution of BA s Fares and Schedule, managing 100+ interline agreements and leading the support and development of BA s Revenue Management systems. For three years, he was based in Japan as Commercial Manager. He has extensive Revenue Management experience, including project managing BA s team on the Amadeus New Generation Inventory (Altea Plan) project during its specification stage. He is a Director on the Board of the Airline Tariff Publishing Company and is Chairman of the IATA Passenger Tariff Conferences Steering Group.
