High-quality precision images The BJ-W 3000 series excels in producing exact line drawings and complex images, including perspective view and 3D rendering. Resolution is a high 720 dpi addressable and 360 dpi in full colour. With a margin of only 5 mm on each edge, the printer can simulate a maximum plotting area. There are also 18 levels of line width between 0.07 mm and 2.19 mm, for fine line drawings. Faster speed for optimal productivity Both models feature powerful print heads, designed with a 160 nozzle for black output and 144 nozzles for colour. Printing speed is a fast 2.3 minutes for a monochrome A0 drawing (draft mode) and just 7.9 minutes for full colour A0 output (normal mode). This rapid printing speed results in an overall increase in productivity, generating faster output for final proofs. Low cost of ownership An affordable outlay makes Canon s BJ-W3000 series an attractive investment. Running costs are also reduced, as there are 4 separate prints heads as well as 4 ink tanks. Thus an ink tank can be replaced separately, when required, without replacing the entire head or other ink tanks. Automatic calibration after each replacement ensures optimum quality at all times. Canon s unique ink level indicator combines optical ink level detection and dot counting for absolute accuracy, with three levels displayed (ink remaining/nearly empty/out of ink). Flexible paper handling The BJ-W3000 series provide a roll feeder with automatic cutter as a standard feature. Thus both sheet media and roll media can be used, with continuous roll output. As the print head height is easily adjustable to 3 levels, different types of media and thickness can be accepted, to handle a wide range of applications. Complete connectivity A variety of drivers enable seamless integration for Windows 95/98/2000/NT 4.0 with the advantage of Plug & Play simplicity. They also support the latest AutoCAD software (ADI/HDI) ensuring comprehensive connectivity. Additionally, TIFF format is partially supported.
