How to Level in Revelation (with a group of friends/guildies) By Huy Disclaimer: this guide was written with information in CBT1 and CBT2 and might not be valid in OBT/Offical release. It is also not a guide that covers everything in the game and should be used as more of an outline for players with more experience in the game. Level 1-20. With general information sprinkled in Follow main story quest until level 20 (there isn t really any other options here tbh, maybe gather items to raise social level as that gives exp as well?) Step 1 is don t use those damn ascension stones that grant you exp until you re the highest level as possible before reset because those stones give scaled exp amounts? at around level 15 it is highly recommended to invest some knowledge in your life skills to unlock storage here for bank space This branch of the life skills (the book looking one that storage is located under) is very important and should be maxed or nearly maxed out as it provides a lot of utility such as increase amount of kills in scour dungeon dailies, mailing system, auction house, material inventory (new inventory that holds all your crafting materials), costume inventory (new inventory to store your outfits), set up stalls (player marketing), increase friend list space, and the most important one is this dumbbell looking thingy It increases the regeneration rate of intellect and physique which are both used for crafting. The only other known way of regenerating this crafting limiter is by leveling up your social level (through crafting or gathering) to gain X amount of intellect and physique or by drinking from the Oasis of
Wisdom and Oasis of Strength once every 8 hours for 15 intellect and 15 strength. (Note that the second picture is the Oasis of Wisdom but I already used it within the last 8 hours so it doesn t show that it is drinkable) Level 20-30 Here is where leveling speed depends on a party, ideally want a ful party as it will be faster / higher exp in a full party (you can still do it solo but you will take MUCH longer for less exp) Make sure the party you form are all people you like because you will probably spend the next few hours with them since the methods from 20~40 all pretty much require a party for maximum efficiency.
There is a Weekly green quest near sulan at Party leader (once everyone is nearby) will talk to the npc. Party members do not have to do anything other then follow the leader around. EXP is granted to everyone in the party (more exp is granted when there is more party members present about 3x more exp?) Next is go to darkfall and pick up the green darkfall quest nearby (can be done twice). Run through all 5 runs of dark fall (for both gear and exp for your party) This should put you at level 28~30. The last levels can be grinded at scour dungeon (Sunken Galleons). Farm in rooms with elite dungeon bosses and kill mobs fast. Here are where the 3 elite bosses spawn in sunken galleons (they will always spawn in the same spot every 5 minutes be the first to hit it for the credit and credit is shared among party member- they have 100% drop rate of hematites)
Level 30~35 ish? Have everyone finish their demon slayer trial 1 (level 30)
Drag your party of 5 to the area Another green weekly quest awaits you! Same as the level 20 one pretty much (just follow the leader once everyone is there and have the leader talk to the npc to start it) Open your dailies tab and go do the DAILY TOKEN (decent exp and needed for demon slayer merit (needed to advance to demon slayer level 2 at lvl 40 and it gives high amounts of demon slayer as well) Do this 3 times - Daily is only clear once, you can run it 3 times. Daily token is located here Now is a very weird phase / gap? What I did for this part was catch up on the orange / purple side quests then gather antwood for 3 terminmites, gather gravewort for 3 ginseng, and just gather things (mostly bamboo wood/peach trees/thombaum/star velvet) for exp to raise social level enough to be able to invest my life skill to raise the amount of kills daily for scour dungeons then went to scour dungeon
and used the drink that increased my amount of kills and used the weekly double exp to kill them until I hit level 35. Again I aimed for the rooms with elite dungeon mobs and after I hit level 35 I left the area (DON T FORGET YOU CAN TURN OFF THE WEEKLY DOUBLE EXP FROM THE NPC) The 3 termintes and 3 ginseng will be useful in the future for a gathering quest that is used to obtain gathering tool and increase your profficiency in gathering (lowers cost to gather) Here are the general locations I gathered at. (I forgot to obtain a screenshot of the graveworts which gives ginseng, it is near the divine outlook if you search in the nearby areas, the rest have pictures of the material and the mini map was open with the coordinates) I also did not include ores as they cost more physique then I liked to gather nor did I include needle herbs, and many other numerous gatherable items. These were just the ones I found close by and easy to find.
Level 35-40 With level 35 you should do purple and orange side quests one of which will give you a level 37 gold weapon. Then your whole party should regroup and do misty hallows trials. This dungeon is a wonderful source of exp. It also puts your party near an important location. Bearworld! Bearworld is whereyou obtain the last gathered item you need for your gathering quest (as well as where you start it when your gathering reaches a high enough level quest auto shows in purple quest tab if you have enough gathering mastery) The last item needed for the gathering quest is gold and the collectable materials are located in the cave where you get teleported too after misty hallows
and in the general location. Here is a screenshot of a spot with approximately 1~5 nodes of the gold. Do darkfall hard and deserted shrine easy here(all runs) for equipment and accessories for your party. Make sure you do not over lvl 39 this is important. (at level 39 and above you can choose when to level up by clicking the level up button. EXP you obtain during this time is stored so do not worry about losing exp) At level 39 Your party separates yet again as it is highly suggested for everyone to run their black empress? Emperor? trials. At level 39 you have very high stats and should be able to score really high on the ranking (which gives you money, exp, and outfits) If you have not hit level 40 yet by now re form with your party and do the dailies secret poachers market for money, and either return to gathering materials, finish up your dungeon runs of darkfall hard and deserted shrine easy, finish purple and orange quests, or Do weekly quest with your party located at (careful the mobs are level 44) This weekly quest is similar to the one at level 20 and 30 where the leader talks to the npc when everyone is nearby to start it except this time the npc will summon mobs. The mobs are not difficult however and
should be easy to deal with (in a full party). After you kill the mobs the npc will point you to the next npc.. who will also summon mobs on you when your leader talks to him.. and it keeps going about 4~5 quests per attempt and this quest chain can be repeated 5? times a week. This quest also gives something more useful then just exp, IT S ONE OF THE FEW WAYS TO OBTAIN SOUL GRID ITEMS which is used for soul grid upgrade / fusion to improve your stats. Soul grid orange quests become doable at level 39? Below are the crystals you can obtain from the weekly quest and what they give. Do note that there are some restrictions for soul grids such as you can only use the circle ones on the outer most layer of the soul grid and having certain combinations of crystals give bonus stats. 40-45? First off- everyone should do their demon slayer rank up at level 40. Second everyone should do all your purple and orange quests Then drag your party into deserted shrine hard modefor some exp and loot. Finish any of the above listed in the 30~39 that you have not already finished and prepare to cry at the upcoming quest grind. There is a daily? Weekly? pvp quest here that grants important credits but since CBT2 doesn t have pvp ignore this for now
After everything is done here is a pretty good time to start chowing down those ascension essence, finish up your kills for scour dungeon level 40 version which is food world (insert picture here later) Now ideally you would break up with your party here say good bye.. till level 45 ish and either grind out the story quest till you hit 45 OR do the green and blue quests that are now covering up your entire world map. I highly suggest doing the blue and green quests near divine outlook (please note some green and blue quests won t be aviable unless you progress a certain amount in your story quest first) Some of these green / blue quests are 1 time deal, others are dailies, a few are repeatable, and some are weekly. Some I would suggest having a party of at least 3 people for, but you can solo most of them. Do these things to increase the favor with the factions as reputation is useful for buying costume outfits/accessories, wings, crafting items, and materials for gold tier gear. Alternatively you can also do curious events here to fill in the gap (one of your orange? Purple? Quests give you some tickets for these) You can obtain these tickets from dungeons, weekly quests or buy tickets from this npc These events open up at certain times in game. There are 2 for daytime and 2 for nighttime. The 2 daytime is escort and fishing while the 2 night time is dream world and alchemy assistance. Recommended to have a party for all (ideally a full party). These events reward highly useful items (most notable are the dream world,fishing one, alchemy one) and are repeatable as long as you have tickets. While the exp gain isn t too good it gives valued items for progression. The currency Curiousity beads that you obtain can be used to buy a lot of highly useful items like your 2 nd 3 star skill at level 39 or enhancing stones. 45~49?
At 45+ do all the purple and orange quests (yet again) Re form your trusty party and enter into Misty Hallows. A bit harder then before but gives very useful items for crafting and progression and go back to doing what you were doing before mentioned in the lvl 40~45 section to level. (don t forget to do your dailies/weeklys again as well. For the lower level dungeons make sure to party with someone lower level instead of running with your usual party so that you can obtain imperial society credit which is used to purchase materials for your gold gear it is also a weekly quest that s doable 3 times a week) Note that at level 45+ you can now run expert DS (which you need to do to advance for demon slayer 3 rd advancement at level 45) If you have a guild you should also add guild daily quests to your list of dailies to do. Side note- at the start of every hour -at sunken galleon and food world (scour dungeons) a raid level boss event (need like 10+ people) will appear. This is recommended to do with your guild as everything the boss drops is donateable items to your guild.
