1. When and how long is the promotion live? The promotion lasts for 6 weeks starting from 00:01 on 11 Jan to 23:59 on 21 Feb 2014 (inclusive) unless game cards run out before then. 2. Can customers play in all restaurants? Yes. Customers can play this game in all participating restaurants across the GCC. 3. Can anyone play? Participants have to be a legal resident of the United Arab Emirates, the State of Qatar and the Sultanate of Oman with a valid government issued ID document (identity card, residence visa or a GCC country issued passport). However, employees and immediate family members of McDonald s, the prize partners and any companies involved in the development, production and distribution of materials or verification and redemption of prizes are NOT ELIGIBLE to participate in this promotion. 4. If a tourist wins a prize, can he/she redeem it? No, only legal residents of the United Arab Emirates, the State of Qatar and the Sultanate of Oman with a valid ID document can participate in the game and claim prizes, but a tourist may choose to pass on their winning game piece(s) to familymember or friend who is a legal resident to claim the prize. 5. How do customers get The Big Match game cards? Customers who purchase a Large Extra Value Meal in-store will receive a game card. 6. How many game cards do customers receive? Every purchase of Large Extra Value Meal will be entitled to 1 game card. Multiple purchases of Large Extra Value Meal in one transaction will entitle a customer to the corresponding quantity of game cards. 7. What is the difference between a game card and a game piece? A game card is what is given away with Large Extra Value Meal purchases and inside EACH game card there are TWO game pieces - either an Instant Win or Match & Win game piece. It if is a Match & Win game care, customers need to collect the matching halves of the same picture (and corresponding serial numbers) to win. 8. How can customers win? There are 3 ways to win; Instant Win, Match & Win and the Daily Draw.
9. What is an Instant Win? If a customer has a game piece printed with the words Instant Win, the customer wins the prize and can redeem it as instructed on the game piece. It could be McDonald s food prizes or partner prizes. PLEASE NOTE: - Only McDonald s, adidas & Coca-Cola prizes can be claimed in store instantly. - PSVita, PS4, and Daily Draw prizes must be claimed directly from the Head Office. Customers should ask for a Prize Claim Declaration Form from the manager and call the Head Office at the telephone number printed on the form to submit their prize claim. - PlayStation Plus 30 Days Trial Code can only be redeemed via PlayStation Store on a Sony Entertainment Network account. Customers can refer to clause 6.2 in the Terms & Conditions for detailed redemption method. 10. What is Match & Win? If a customer receives a game piece that is printed with a half prize visual and a serial number, it is a Match & Win game piece. Customers have to collect the 2 matching halves of the same picture (and corresponding serial numbers) to win the corresponding prize. 11. How do customers enter the Daily Draw? Customers receive a Match & Win game piece that contains an 11-digit Daily Draw Code. Customers should visit www.mcdonaldsarabia.com to submit their Daily Draw Code and enter their personal details as instructed to register for the Daily Draw.. A winning code will be drawn every day (except weekends & public holidays) across the GCC to win tickets and travel package for 2 people to the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. 12. Can customers use the code number on any game pieces to enter the Daily Draw? All game pieces have a unique code number, however only the 11-digit Daily Draw Codes as printed on Match & Win game pieces are eligible for entering the Daily Draw. 13. What is the deadline for Daily Draw registration? GCC residents can register for the Daily Draw from 00:01 on 11 January to 23:59 (local time) 21 February 2014. 14. When and where can customers find the Daily Draw results? The Daily Draw results will be announced on the website every day (except weekends & public holidays) from 12 Jan - 23 Feb 2014.
15. If customers have an enquiry about the Daily Draw registration, who should they contact? Customers can send their enquiry via the Contact Us tab on The Big Match microsite. 16. How do customers redeem their prizes and what is the expiry date to claim their prizes by? Only McDonald s, adidas & Coca-Cola prizes can be redeemed in stores and they should be claimed before 23:59pm on 22 April 2014 (in U.A.E) or 21 May 2014 (in Qatar and Oman) and during the hours the food product is served (as printed on the game piece). PlayStation Plus 30 Days Trial Code must be redeemed via PlayStation Store on a Sony Entertainment Network account by 30 November 2014. Please refer to Clause 6.2 in the Terms & Conditions for detailed redemption method. PS Vita, PS4 and Daily Draw prizes must be claimed directly from the Head Office. Customers should ask for a Prize Claim Declaration Form from the store manager and call their local Head Office telephone number printed on the form to arrange how to submit their prize claim. If the winner of a PSVita, PS4 or Daily Draw prize is under the age of majority or otherwise required to obtain permission of their legal guardian in their jurisdiction, their parent / legal guardian must give their consent to claim the prize. If winners are redeeming their adidas Match & Win prizes and have already registered the Daily Draw Code on the game piece they are submitting, they should keep the lower half of the game piece that contains the Daily Draw Code. Winners have to fill in the Prize Acknowledgement Form in-store to confirm receipt of their adidas prize and keep the Customer s Copy section of the prize acknowledgement form for their record. 17. Can customers obtain game cards via McDelivery? No, in U.A.E. and Oman no game cards are available via McDelivery. Yes, in Qatar. In order to receive a game card, a customer making a purchase of a Large Extra Value meal via McDelivery in Qatar MUST SIGN a receipt, no game card(s) can be given without this signed receipt. 18. Can customers redeem prizes via McDelivery? No prizes can be redeemed via McDelivery. Only McDonald s food, adidas and Coca-Cola prizes can be redeemed in-store PSVita, PS4 and Daily Draw prizes can only be redeemed via Head Office.
19. Can customers redeem the prizes in a GCC market other than the one they obtain the game cards from? No, customers can only redeem the prize in the market where they obtained the game card(s). 20. Is there any minimum age requirement to claim prizes? There is no age restriction to claim the McDonald s, adidas and Coca-Cola prizes. However, customers must be an adult of majority age to claim the PS Vita, PS4 or Daily Draw prizes. If the winner is under the age of majority, or otherwise required to obtain permission of their legal guardian in their jurisdiction, they will need to have permission from their legal guardian/parents to claim the prize. 21. Can a customer win several prizes? There is no limit on how many Instant Win or Match & Win prizes a customer can win. However, customers can only redeem 1 food prize per visit 22. Can customers claim the food prizes in the same purchase they received their game card? No, they have to redeem the food prize in the next visit. 23. Can customers redeem several food prizes at the same visit? No, customers can only redeem 1 food prize per visit. 24. Can a customer transfer the prize to the others? No, all the prizes are non-transferable and have to be claimed by the winner (with parent/ legal guardian consent if the customer is under the age of majority) However Daily Prize Draw winners claiming the tickets & travel package for 2 people to 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, can nominate another person to claim / receive the prize. Both winner and the nominee must sign a declaration form to authorize the transfer of the prize. 25. How soon will customers receive their PS Vita, PS4 or Daily Draw prize? The Head Office will endeavor to confirm winners in writing within 28 days (or as otherwise required by law) upon receipt of the prize claim at Head Office. If a customer s details or their game pieces, or their supporting prize claim documents are incomplete or invalid, they will also be notified in writing to explain why.
26. Where can customer see the full Terms & Conditions of the McDonald s The Big Match game? A copy of the full Terms & Conditions can be found in store until 22 April 2014 (in UAE) and 21 May 2014 (in Oman/Qatar) and is also available by downloading and printing a copy from the website. 27. If customers have a damaged game piece, can they use it to claim prizes? No, if it is illegible and can no longer be validated then we cannot accept damaged game pieces.
