WEEK FOUR Build Out Slide Decks with Course Content M3, L2 If you plan to create a course with slide decks and audio, give yourself a full week to lay out your content inside your slide decks. When you have them completed, have them edited for typos and mistakes. If you plan to create your course via direct to camera, take this time to strengthen your outline, practice your content delivery and secure the equipment and extra support needed for filming. WEEKS FIVE & SIX Write and Design All Course Enhancements M2, L2 If possible, write the content for each of your enhancements (cheat sheets, checklists, etc.) before recording your course. That way you can mention them in detail inside your lessons. As for designing the enhancements, use Canva to do it yourself or hire it out. Record Course M3, L3 TECH S Suggested Recording List: Welcome Video, Snapshots, Lessons, and Bonuses Edit Course TECH S You can edit your own videos or hire a contractor to edit them for you. Get Your Course Transcribed (Optional) M3, L4 Send the edited videos to transcription as they are completed so transcription can start right away. This will speed up the process. WEEKS SEVEN & EIGHT Setup Member Site M4, L1 M4, L2 TECH S There are multiple steps to setting up your members site and the steps differ depending on which platform you choose. Setup Private Facebook Group (Optional) M5, L2 Although not necessary, private Facebook Groups offer support and community for your students. Craft New Customer Onboarding Sequence and Set Up Inside Email Provider M5, L3 To help get your creativity flowing, check out the swipe file from a successful Onboarding Sequence. Beta Testing Note: If you plan to beta test (smart strategy, indeed!), once your course is complete, give yourself an extra week or two to prepare the beta test. From there, decide on the length of your beta test and begin. When the beta test is complete, compile your feedback from your beta testers.
