Sub-cut the strip into (2) 2 x 16 ½ rom the Decorative Scroll - Grey (), cut: (1) 5 ¼ x WO strip. Sub-cut strip into (7) 5 ¼ squares.
Page 2 Sewing nstructions 1. Place (1) 5 ¼ abric square on top of (1) 5 ¼ abric square, right side together. Draw a line across the diagonal of the top square (ig. 1). Sew ¼ away from each side of the drawn diagonal line (ig. 1). ut the two squares apart on the drawn diagonal line (ig. 2) to make (2) half-square triangles (ig. 3). Trim the half-square triangles to measure 4 ⅞ square. Top ssembly (Refer to igure 7 while assembling the runner top.) 8. Sew (1) 5 ½ x 19 ½ abric strip to each side of the enter lock. Sew (1) 5 ½ abric square to each end of (1) 5 ½ x 55 ½ abric strip. Repeat to make a second strip. Sew the strip to the top and to the bottom of the enter block to make the Top. 9. Sew the (5) 2 ½ x WO abric G strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. old this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press. 11. ind as desired. 2. Place one half-square triangle from Step 1 on top of another half-square triangle, right sides together. Make sure the center seam is going in the same direction on both half-square triangles and the abric Triangle in the top block is opposite from the abric triangle in the bottom block (ig. 4). ig. 4 3. Draw a diagonal line across the top half-square triangle so that it goes through the sewn seam. Sew ¼ away from both sides of the drawn line (ig. 5). ut on the drawn line to make (2) units (ig. 6). Trim the units to measure 4 ½ square. make 14 ig. 7 D D ig. 5 ig. 6 4. Repeat Steps 1-3 to make (14) units total. Note: Only 13 units will be used. 5. Sew (13) units together to make (1) strip. 6. Sew (1) 6 ½ x 52 ½ abric strip to the top and to the bottom of the strip to make the enter lock. 7. Sew (1) 2 x 16 ½ abric D strip to each side of the enter lock. Sew (1) 2 x 55 ½ abric D strip to the top and to the bottom of the enter lock.
Sewing nstructions 1. Sew (1) 4 x 6 ½ abric strip to each end of (1) 4 x 6 ½ abric strip to make (1) strip. Repeat to make (8) strips total. 2. Sew (1) 1 ½ x 13 ½ abric strip to each side of (1) Place Mat top. Sew (1) 1 ½ x 20 ½ abric strip to the top of the Place Mat top. Sew (1) 4 x 20 ½ abric strip to the bottom of the Place Mat top. Repeat for the remaining (3) Place Mat tops. 5. Layer and quilt as desired. 3. Sew (1) strip to the top and to the bottom of (1) H strip to make (1) Place Mat top (ig. 8). Repeat to make (4) Place Mat tops total. make 4 6.
