Morris Catholic High School Summer Reading List 2017 Summer provides time that is less structured than the school year. It offers us an opportunity to pursue learning at a more leisurely pace. All students are asked to read works of literature chosen by the English Department. Various departments have also chosen enriching reads, views, or work for students enrolled in specific courses. English Below are the English Department s selections for this year s summer reading. All of our students are asked to read two, three, or four literary selections, depending on the class they will be taking. While we know that summer will be busy with many scheduled events, taking the time to engage with good works of literature will prove enriching and offer a life-long habit of learning. Below are some good books we hope you will enjoy.
