Summer Schools 2018 The University of Groningen (1614) is hosting research-driven summer schools. We provide top-quality education to students from every continent and from every walk of life, to help prepare for their (international) careers. Last year some 1500 participants from 100 different nationalities worked intensively together with inspired researchers on important topics. We invite all students and staff to look beyond the obvious, to be involved, purposeful and creative, and to engage in scientific and social debates on both local and global issues. Join us in 2018 and bring in your knowledge and ambitions, and share your experience and questions. www.rug.nl/summerschools 1

During this summer school participants gain a deeper insight into their own culture and get the knowledge and skills needed to communicate effectively across cultures. The summer school was a complete treat. In a span of just one week I learnt a lot. The speakers were interesting and had a lot to share and teach. What added to the experience was the varied backgrounds of the participants. Tanmeet, India 3 UNIVERSITY OF GRONINGEN SUMMER SCHOOLS 2018
