SUPER SIKH COMICS LLC
Meet Raj Singh and the "Atma Defenders" (Defenders of the Soul), and join the team's fight for justice! This comic series starts with "The Seeker of Truth" which sets the scene for the adventures of Super Sikh and his team, who take on enemies of humanity in epic battles, while also dealing with relatable struggles in their personal lives. Raj Singh, a computer scientist and American Sikh from Punjabi, India, uses his skill and super team of friends to defeat Kal and his minions: The 5 Thieves." According to Sikhism, one should learn to control the 5 vices, or thieves: Kaam - Lust Krodth - Anger Lobh - Greed Moh - Emotional Attachment Ahankaar - Ego The Atma Defenders help us defeat these enemies regardless of age, creed, color, religion, or sex. It's time for some real diversity in the Comic World! In Buddhism, Hinduism and yoga traditions, chakras are energy centers in the body. Sikhism believes there are 10 gates to the body (gates are another word for chakras). The highest energy level is called the tenth gate (dasam dwaar) where Anhad Bani (the sound of Shabad) vibrates. Shabad is the term used by Sikhs to refer to a hymn, paragraph or sections of the Holy words or mantras. "Wahe-Guru" is a mantra which can be recited regardless of age, gender, religion affiliation, or social status. In our story, characters become SUPER by harnessing the energy from their chakras! Each character represents one of the seven chakras, while Raj Singh (Super Sikh) embodies them all.

Our superheroes will be relatable beyond the stereotype of "Sikhs with turbans" being mistaken for terrorists, villains, and "bad guys with guns." Our story is about equality and the hidden strength that anyone can harness. As our founder, Ravi Singh, says: "We want everyone to believe they can be a super hero in their own way--every day of their lives--by doing one good deed each day." We have already incorporated Super Sikh Comics LLC in the USA. Support the progress of 2015SuperSikh.
